@@Fubgun Yea, the 35d build is definitely pretty easy to get at this point in the league. Even week two, you have people selling cheap-ish +proj tri-ele bows if you can't craft it yourself. Some people are clowning on themselves in the comments.
@@Fubgun btw do you pick up currency as you go or do you just kill everything and go back through the map and pick it up. I often times find myself losing a lot of time running back and grabbing stuff as well as sticking around to grab loot.
Fubgun thanks for the budget recommendation. With a mediocre bow I'm blasting T16 and making decent currency to upgrade +2 arrows. Must of the gear is zero cost lol
I think this league you can make a recomb shaper bow with +1 socketed chain, you can lose ricochet and get focal point or whatever and also enables ensnaring arrow on manaforge which doesn't work with global chain

Boots: Fractured abyss socket on velour boots. 1) Use defeaning essence of loathing until you hi T1 of any ele resistance (can use harvest resist swap after). 2) Use wild bristle matreon in bestiary for a cheap "suffixes cannot be changed" and then harvest reforge life until t1 or t2 life. Use 1 more wild bristle matreon and use a veiled orb, craft hybrid life/evasion and unveil 3) Boots are done, ideally you want to unveil MS/MS if you have't been hit recently but onslaught is also fine.

idk if the advantage of being ranged that we always talk about is even real. If you don't kill mobs in one hit, they often just zoom to you in 0.1 seconds, or one shot you with some AOE/projectile, so hit and run is not really a thing in POE 1, or it feels really clunky to do. To one shot strong mobs though, you need much more budget on a bow build than on some other builds.
The range advantage of any bow build is quite real and always has been. Plus you're suppose to be stutter stepping between attacks, that's just standard bow gameplay.
and zero survival, deadeye looks pretty lame, if we dont count OP Wardens forbidden flame ascendancy note, that is probably priced for mirrors now, nvm it is only 80d now, I think people are not buying into this build hype train after all
@@Fubgun Do you lose a lot of damage if playing the point blank version (oath jewels) with a high DPS elemental bow? I'm transitioning to TS - I have the jewels but still have my elemental bow (around 1700 DPS, Spine w/ high lightning dmg). Curious how much I'm handicapping my DPS.
do not recommand doing t17 boss with this setup. imaging this boss gets faster cast rate. u will die. Because dodge beams and balls is not an option and u have no window to attack even if u can dodge all of them. Bow is just too weak to tank some shot before boss dies. Melee definitely performs better this league. It is really good at breach and fast clear t16 though. I do not see any reason to keep upgrading it beyond t16 in this league. Too expensive. u can make a new character with any melee skill with much better defense and equivalent dps(u do not even need to worry about quiver, just a good sword) respec into warden and borrow gale force or inc flask effect at higher budget or even just +1 frenzy. 7 charge = easy inc and attack speed layer.
I played bows prety much since the inception of the game. RN I think they are in a rough spot mainly because the content they excel at (clearing maps fast) is not that good. Even as someone who doesnt really rely on opening maps for currency, popping legions and haing all those rares drop jack shit outside of their associated reward tiles is just not fun. And for most of the strats that are currently the patch winners there are just better suited builds. That being said, as always very good job on putting the build togheter. Solid AF!
I run that sometimes but I swap forbidden jewels to oath of winter for comfort. I also don't use his build been playing ts all league so of your dieing the answer is usually more damage lol

In the budget POB in the notes section - the boots method is duplicated with chest method, but they are completely different xD

@@alejouc1 if you have both socketed in the passive tree then yes, they will give you the oath of springs passive from warden on any ranger class.

People complaining about a 180d budget when you get more than half of that from one 50mil ship and few hours of farming lol.
