Very realistic I definitely appreciate it. Gives me a lot to think about. One of the best videos I’ve seen about this topic. When I get my ducks in a row I will work with you guys. This lets me know I have a lot more to work on
I’m considering opening an esports center and this video is the most informative video I’ve seen to date!!! Thank you for providing your honest business experience in this expanding field.
Hey, thanks for these vids. Especially this one. Poked some holes in my idea which is perfect. I plan to fail, but want to succeed. Hopefully one day soon I'll be using your services and working with you all! Love the vids
Thank you, i learn alot from your sharing experience. Being a new comer in Esport centre at my own hometown, there are uncertain things that i think alot. I appreciate the shared experience.
Thanks for the Help this video was very helpful im planning on Hosting Esports Gaming Tournaments at My store inside of a Mall Near Pittsburgh Pa and Your advice Was Useful for my Plans in the Near future
Okay I can say first off, I like the effort put into releasing more content about this area of business. But what really actually gets me very fired up about what's happening is the contradiction I feel coming from this video. The comments about $50,000 crashing and burning. The implications that a business will ultimately crash and burn no matter the sweat equity because you purely can't achieve over the $50,000 to start a business from the ground up regardless of plans. To me there feels to be more of a bash on the common individual with no incentive or drive to see through their plans and less useful information for those dedicated to the grind and will power to make something happen. You mean to tell me if a man starts his business with $30,000 in a home town of family orientation. Puts his non-stop hours into going door to door to explain his business and why it benefits the families children before opening. That if his business is packed every weekend and full during daily hours prior to 9PM with a minimal set up of 10 PCs and like 4 xboxes and some side offered snacks that there isn't a chance in hell he could EVER get out of that no matter the amount of work put in. You seem to me to be selling the idea of "You'll only ever be as big as you start". "You'll only make it if you have more than $75,000". I just don't buy that, because I'm sure every business model didn't start out with $75,000+ in investment money. The first EVER Gaming Cafe couldn't have started with more than a little amount and managed to suffice and grow into something larger not just for the gaming aspect but for the atmosphere it brought to its area for others to feel included or the first time ever being accepted for their interests. Every business model starts small at some point. Everyone starts small and grows. But you claim that is down right impossible no matter the amount of planing with this business model. You're completely exemplifying the fact that the area can be such a social hangout that regardless of console count they come back to a place that feels like they can network with others that share similar interests. To me this video seems more of a discouragement than the "do's and don'ts of the industry".
We appreciate your thorough comment. Our opinions come directly from our 15 years of experience and seeing practically all locations with only a few exceptions fail. Even in our own experience we have barely made it with extra "sweat equity" and luck. This also comes from us spending weeks of time evaluating many types of esports business models in this area and the numbers tell us that you will not get your ROI back quickly without a large location allowing you to get large crowds in on the weekends, it just won't happen. So while it may seem like we are being contradictory, it only comes from a place of not wanting to see more people try to start small and grow and fail.
You kind of misleading his point..He said that first impression is important..I totally agree with that..I running my esport centre for almost 2 years and my biggest mistake was not putting enough amount of station for certain platforms and most people don't want to wait for their turn than they decided to leave..gaming center is not like restaurant or any other business..people just want to come and having fun not waiting.
So incredibly interested in this. It absolutely consumes my thoughts for days on in now. after much research and reading I keep coming back to this video and your company. Its obvious you guys know what's up. How can I get an audience with you. Please sit down with me. I'm close to you I live in New Albany IN and plan to tackle Louisville Market BY STORM!!!!
Hey, was wondering how to reach out and get some consulting on this and going over my current business plan and revenue projections. Would really love to get some advice and lead into the right direction.
I wonder what your opinion would be on my idea. First, Im trying to bring in a decent business for local programs in my tiny home village. The village literally has nothing but a small market, car repair, and a thousand RV nation lots. (New miami, ohio-pop apr 3000) surrounded by rual area and farm communities. I was thinking of bringing in this kind of business. Looks perfect from my point of view. With 1/4 dining + cafe. Like a modern bowling alley but v with esports, and projection arcade(those are awesome for kids). And because my old hometown school is so poor with a 10% graduation rate , i could install reward programs for free time etc. I don't know crap about gaming though. ????
Have you done it yet ? Also my question to you is, do you know how to repair Pc's ? or is there any near pc repair store that you can relay on if shit hits a fan ? From my experiance, if people are not familiar how to use PC equipment, you bet they will break things left and right.
How big of a client base do you need like woudl you be able to do a lan center in a smaller community or do you need to be in a city of 100,000 people which i realize is a very small city. I'm wondering about even smaller in 30k people range.
@@ggCircuit oh that gives me hope I would love to get something like this up and running in my community as we don't have a lot but your videos have shown me there is a lot of work ahead
We are all loving the wave that Fortnite has started and we will ride it for as long as we can for sure. I just worry that launching a plan around one game might not be a good long term stance. Also keep in mind that once you cater to one demographic you might be stuck with that demographic as your primary customers forever. I know this from experience. :)
You should really be pushing bday parties and events, they are the most profit and yet i didnt hear anything about them. Your model is lacking in versatility.
This content is gold for any lan center owner! This is what I need, some straight up facts of what to expect and what NOT to expect. Subscribed!
