Need more info on the R5 program. Is it a private built or a platform to un-earth talents. PROTON Motorsport division is defunct, they sold it to China which really after LOTUS, the pride and joy of Britain...What has happen to the S2000 NEO and other Proton in BTCC will happen to IRIZ R5 rally program.
The Iriz R5 rally car was built by Mellors Elliot Motorsport. Same as the Neo Super 2000. The only thing that relates MEM and Proton is the model car used by MEM, which were Proton's built vehicles. MEM build rally machines using Proton cars, and Proton have nothing to do with the research and development of those vehicles. Proton cars in BTCC however, exclusively the Gen-2 and Persona, if I'm not mistaken was built by the Welch Motorsport, not Proton.
Good infos folks. For the sake of PROTON's cars, they were built genuinely in Malaysia. However, the engine techs and body modification gives 'em highly sophisticated racing spirits instead of the challenges amongst those respective cars manufacturers. Sounds good isn't it Lol.
Muhammad Asyraf Bin Ayub first, apply malaysia racing license dekat AAM, HQ kat shahalam, ambil exam and course dia and if dah settle and dah dapat you can expand your license internationally thru FIA punya course (kalau tak silap la)
Proton💪💪💪🇲🇾
Malaysia semakin dikenali dunia Alhamdulillah
