You really need to install a protective net / screen between the driver seats and the compartment, in an accident or hard break, anything loose in there becomes flying missiles..
That is what exactly happened to my friend, when he was rear ended on his return from the car boot sale. Merchandised shifted forward and hit his head and back. Chronic neck pain even after 6 years.
Greetings eWaste Ben. GOD BLESS you and all your endeavors. You're just so inspirational and hardworking. Thank you for sharing, passing knowledge/blessings forward yippee. Be safe, healthy &blessed always
Would be really nice if you could show us how the next step of metal recovery is done in the industrial scale. How they process the power suply, motherboards, etc. tks. Greetings from Brazil.
wow! 1.5 tons of ewaste! thats just amazing! 😱😳 the drive sighed when it all went! lol garage is looking good, although looks like a bin/box has bn ill in there! (circuit board pile!) looks bril 😊
Keep Up the good work Ben. Always really like your video’s. Waiting for a new scrap marathon 😅 I really do miss the Street scrapping vids See you next time!
You Dropped off a Huge Amount of E-Waste - You are so right - all of it would have ended in Landfill - well done You - we love it and keep Safe and many-many Cheers from us here in Loganholme QLD !!!!
Just realized you only have 90k subscribers. I learned every thing I know about e waste from you. Dang if more people knew about how awesome your channel is you would have a lot morw
hi ben this is nick another great video mate i watch every single video u done so far u are amazing person and teacher and inspirational one 2 thxs mate stay save and keep those videos coming
Thanks Ben, don't let this toxic waste ends up to our landfills, I guess state government should issue you a medal for your hardworking to protect our community.
Big thumbs up from London uk 1.5 tons of e waste that’s amazing big companies should take a leaf from your book mate great video honest and upfront stay safe all the best
Even small ones; there's a growing pile of E-waste at my workplace. Which, I'm glad to say, includes that hateful printer/scanner/copier combo that never worked right and had to be babied constantly. I make sure to give it a kick every time I'm passing.
You said low grade boards are only a little more than scrap steel, I'm assuming you mean the clean pressing steel?? I'm also assuming that they wouldn't let you put it with the clean pressing steel because of the contaminants of the fiber board and varies other things. Which just putting in with dirty steel would be more than half as much for the low grade boards. I'm sure you've considered the best options for yourself, and some times those change!! Nice cash flow after 3 trips to the Ewaste recycler!! Have a GREAT Day My Friend!!!
Wouldn’t it be easier to roll your tub into the van while at home, and drop it off with the material inside, and get an identical empty wheely bin in exchange from the recyclers? Then you wouldn’t have to do so much unloading. Also, what does the recycler do with the laptops? Just curious. Thanks.
Pressed like button for the scrap selling video :) Recently you are not posting that many videos. People would love to see what you have been processing. Do you have e-waste processing factory in Australia or all the 1.5 tons gets exported? I know your buyer will take out few components from the heap for resale / reuse.
Greetings Ben, Thanks for posting yet another fun Escrap Video, always enjoyable. BTW 2:20 he keeps the Batteries because Pound for Pound Lithium has a scarp value 4 times the price of lead-acid batteries do, nowadays get the right scrapyard buyer and you'll get more for the batteries then you will for the motherboard in terms of scrap value. Anyways Cheers Mate!
Nice. Are you going to do another MEGA SCRAP? Always interested in watching you process and always love listening to your chats. Keep up the good work Ben. Stay safe
Thanks for sharing Ben and nice payout on your ewaste. I cringed watching you push the heavy bins onto your van alone, you gotta cut the angle of the ramps asap. The background music when the bins were being weighed was a nice touch! Cheers!
I've got 3 buggered laptops sitting here, plus 3 buggered cursors. I don't write off the cursor exactly with every disfunctional laptop, but it just averaged out the same. I'm on to my 4th laptop since I got my landline Internet, getting close on 9 years ago. If the pile of crap I'm currently on makes it to at least late next year then its 2 and a half years per each laptop. The last 3 being all pawn shop acquisitions. All I need is the USB connect with each ' new ' rig then I'm basically back on the Internet. Just plug in the USB and its back up. Don't know about all that NBN wireless crap. I think I buggered that somewhere along the line. Not doing the service technician thing to get that re-sorted.
Wow that buyers place looks empty compare to old drops... did you think about installing smal winch inside car to help you with loading and unloading those bins;)
Here in the states can't find a recycle yard that buys plastic. Nice, mate on how you can utilize your donk. Especially when's its a diesel. I bet it gets great mpg or in your world, liters per kilometers. Nice score on the "quids"(money)😝. Just came across some inconel and waiting on the market to go up. Greetings from once called California now Sodomfornia, biblically speaking. Again, NICE SCORE, bro! I placed my comments in before the end of video, didn't I mentioned "NICE SCORE, MATE!" 3600 QUIDS💰💰💰💰💰💰💰🙉☺!

Ben you should finally cut off the ends of these ramps for your tubs! It's gonna save you so much effort with every time you load and unload. And it's not gonna get easier with age... Lol😂
Hi john, I'm in the UK and completely new to E-waste and looking to learn all I can. Where would be the best place to drop off e-waste for cash? Recycling centres?
that was a lot of laptops Ben< I just was a bit looking for a good second hand to send to a Philippines vlogger friend to help a bit out, but they all seems to ask her too much for a second-hand laptop
With being in Australia and having so many places to hide in that garage; are you not worried about what dangerous creatures may be lurking under a motherboard or whatever?
Mr Wibble us Australians aren’t scared of any nasties lurking anywhere. We just let them do what they want and if they don’t get out of our way we squish them 😂
The e-waste he scrappes goes back in the circle of processing and every thing he picks up can't get lost in our environment 😎👌 Good job
Ben I really appreciate that you show how much you make in the end, it helps me figure this stuff out

I love these orange bins!!!! Great that they give them to you
Well, it means they get their scrap in neat containers, so why not hand them out to customers for filling?

I can't imagine why you didn't have a "Lap top scrap marathon." It only would have take a year or so to scrap all those lap tops 🤣
This is my second time watching!

Your GoPro makes it like we are there helping you!
Loading and unloading. That's one way to stay fit during the lockdown.
10-15 mins to your board buyer!!! Nice. Mine is at least an hour away
You could do with putting in a bit more of a heavier springs on back end nice little payday 👍👍
Nice.
Are you going to do another MEGA SCRAP?
Always interested in watching you process and always love listening to your chats.
Keep up the good work Ben.

alot of hard work, good job
another great video from ben thanks
You should attach something like a winch to your seats in the van to pull the heavy tubs up easier and save time.
Thanks for sharing Ben and nice payout on your ewaste. I cringed watching you push the heavy bins onto your van alone, you gotta cut the angle of the ramps asap. The background music when the bins were being weighed was a nice touch! Cheers!
Put a small whinch after the seats to help with the load and unload
It makes a nice change
Would love to see how the recycling centre processes the laptops you've dropped off.
+1 looks to me like they are just palletizing it to ship to a poor country?
My buyer has a special offer this month 1 euro a kilo for lowgrade thats awesome

Your the scrap king of UA-cam
Great payout Ben !
That was cool
I just put about 50kg of boards to my local dump. In the electronic container obviously. The uk wont take them. Wish they would.
it’s like the modern version of mad max 😁
Wow that buyers place looks empty compare to old drops... did you think about installing smal winch inside car to help you with loading and unloading those bins;)
Wish my scrap yard bought boards when will u do a street scrapping video on trash day again
Great job #happyscrapping
Not easy breathing as is with heavy graft, never mind having to wear a mask on top - sounds like you were labouring there Ben. Nice loads tho :)

You should move the motherboards bin to the front, and empty bins to the back for easier access And Also 1.5tonnes is insane.

You should invest in a trailer for the runs
Ben you should finally cut off the ends of these ramps for your tubs! It's gonna save you so much effort with every time you load and unload. And it's not gonna get easier with age... Lol😂
You need a intern!! Hahaha. Also, you should try and take a subscriber along for the ride. Let them come help you for a day!
Yea around here all the recycling in San Antonio is run by a bunch of dunnies or Sheila's
Nice 👌
what kind of truck is it u have? and how many 240l bins fit in?
My favorite day of the week! E-Wast drop off day!
Hi john, I'm in the UK and completely new to E-waste and looking to learn all I can. Where would be the best place to drop off e-waste for cash? Recycling centres?
So when you trim the ends of the ramps. Will that be extra for the clean ali or stainless?
Out of curiosity would you be able to turn them sideways maybe Fit 3 of those at a time?
not quite, no turning room for the 3rd, next van should do it being long wheel base
I got about 500 lbs of laptop scrap ready to go.. I'm hoping about a quarter a pound
very nice 👍
Niceeee 👍
that was a lot of laptops Ben< I just was a bit looking for a good second hand to send to a Philippines vlogger friend to help a bit out, but they all seems to ask her too much for a second-hand laptop

What is the newest apple or windows laptops you have? Thanks 🤓
Where does one get those orange bins, in the states?
It takes time but it’s to worth it so you t doesn’t contaminate the landfill
Nice haul on the recycling. How long did it take to amass that?
Just a random ? These are the best.
i'd flip the ramps around to load. then opposite for unload. :P
love it
All those laptops tossed!
I go to ewaste places and search through those laptops. I make wayyyyyyyyy more reselling them then those ewaste facilities.
WOW!!!!! U r one BUSY guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Holy lap tops, scrap man!
does this mean you no longer use the scrapyard?
Looks like it’s just a dent in what you really have lol Scrap on my friend
What does your buyer do with all these laptops to make buying them worthwhile?
Amazing job Ben 👊👊
2$/kg is a good price I imagine.
How long did it take to accumulate all that?
