- Spam, yay or nay? I am team "yay, gimme that spam musubi pls." Enjoy this video where I show how to make a miniature spam musubi (and egg sushi) charm out of polymer clay!
✄ Supplies and Materials ✄
Polymer clay is a clay that needs to be baked in an oven in order to harden, and can be found at your nearest craft store or online (Google search it!)
» white, beige, black, brown, and yellow polymer clay (+ translucent and green, optional)
» x-acto knife or a craft blade
» rubbing alcohol and cotton swab
» silicone tool
» dotting tool
» sandpaper
» toothbrush
» orangey-brown, dark brown, and pink chalk pastels
» eye pins or eye screws to make it a charm
» rolling pin or acrylic block
I didn't glaze these charms, but if you want more information about it:

baking instructions
Different polymer clay brands have varying baking instructions. Please refer to your clay’s package instructions, or get help from an adult to prevent discolored or burnt clay. I used Sculpey III and Premo! clay, which was baked at 275 degrees F for about 25 minutes.
The surface I work on is called the "Sculpey Work n Bake mat". You can purchase this in craft stores in the clay aisle.

Good luck!! :)
Omg this is so cute! I love it! When I saw the notification, I was so happy and started clapping and smiling :) Do you have any tips on keeping clay clean?
Haha aw thank you!! And the tips I mentioned in the vid should help; rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab are my saviors and I always roll a piece of translucent clay between my hands to grab any dust ☺️
@@CoolRiceBunnies thank you so much! :)
ahhhhh, I’m so happy to see a clay tutorial again! You were my inspiration as a kid and this just brings back so many memories. Hope you’re doing well 😊

I've never had spam like this but my mum use to make a spam and rice bake when I was a kid that I remember loving. Not sure if I would like it now because I haven't had it since then. Super cute charms!

Hello I’m new into clay stuff and I don’t really know what type of clay to use I was supposed to buy the air dry clay one but I think it’s prone into having cracks 😢
These are so adorable💖 And I use screw eyes too, they feel more secure than eye pins. Does your method work well? I use a drill and super glue, but it does take a while...
Thank youu for your comment ♥️ and yes I love my method. It’s so much easier to put it in and then bake. The liquid clay makes sure it’s a perfect fit too so you’re not smushing the clay around but instead just twisting it in with that extra security around it. After baking you can twist out the eye screw and add additional super glue if you want! I’ve done that before too. But all in all, so much easier to insert it before baking vs. drilling a hole.
@@CoolRiceBunnies I'll definitely try it out, thank you for the reply Lily! And of course, you have my full support😄
Omg estás viva
