architectural design 1: reacting to the context

There are infinite ways how an architectural design can react to its context. Here are three, to give you an idea what it could mean.

Great video. Thank you. Two possible reasons for uneven number of columns: 1) Roman temples had uneven number of columns on their long sides so he may have been responding to the Maison Carree's side; 2) His entry is asymmetrical thus he does not want a symmetrical / formal entry like those of classical buildings.
