- I had the privilege of talking to my favorite Wolverine writer: Larry Hama. He's written Wolverine, Bucky O'hare, G.I. Joe, Nth Man and Generation X, just to name a few of his comics he's worked on.

Hama takes a shot at these modern editors and I love it. He's right.
Larry Hama + Marc Silvestri + Wolverine = WIN
100%
Yesssssss Two Legends Larry and Omar 👍
Larry is a pretty tough person to interview, you did better than the others I've seen. Thanks.
Awesome.
Great writer, I just recently read his issues of wolverine when Silvestri was the artist and it's absolutely fantastic!
It's always a pleasure to watch (and listen) a big name in this industry like Mr. Larry Hama. I spent my childhood reading his comics and having a lot of fun. These days, I see a lot of problems with his works in Marvel back in the day, but he will always have a place in my heart.
We NEED. A gijoe omnibus
Great interview again. Love Hama's writing. Glad to hear him mention Nth Man quickly as part if his creator credits. Sometimes writers go right over things that didn't have lot of mainstream success. Come on Marvel collect that series already! A one and done Epic Collection and we're good.
Something tells me that Omar knows where that Joe license went. Anyone else feel this way?
I remember him being in an episode of Mash.
Awesome interview. Grew up reading Hama on G.I. Joe and his Wolverine run is my favorite of the character. Lexington Con must be where it's at with Hama and Grell.
Larry is a one of a kind.
I am very grateful to meet Mr. Larry Hama in Los Angeles. He is fun to talk to, and I am truly impressed with what he has done (so far).... I will watch his career closely..... Thanks Omar, to making this video of my hero!
Living legend! A fantastic writer (and editor, artist, etc)..love Larry Hama!!
Just finished Conan Omnis 6 and 7 last week. Larry Hama is my hero.
The Legend. Love seeing Larry Hama. Hope we get some OHCs of his GI Joe run once Kirkman's tenure with the license is up and running. Plus as much new Joe work as Larry wants to do, his ARAH comics over the past decade have been great. An Nth Man OHC (mini omni) would be really cool, I've actually never read those.
Oh wow, I just noticed the MASH poster with Larry. I'm a HUGE MASH fan, definitely need one of those if I'm ever fortunate enough to meet him at a con.
Great interview Omar!
Thank you, sir!
I've a nice signed by Larry Wolverine 😊
Legend right here!
Got Larry Hama and Andrea Di Vito's Wolverine/Patch trade in the mail yesterday, and just finished it. Really, really fun mini series. Hope we see more. It occurred to me that I don't think the Silver Fox/Hydra subplot ever got resolved, I'd love to see Larry revisit that. *SNIKT*
Legend.
Nice interview.
Fascinating, great interview!
Big props on getting a full interview out of him. I met him a small con in Jersey a few years ago and he was extremely unpleasant to interact with.
Hama is such a comics icon. Thanks Omar.
One of my prized possession in my collection is the complete 300 issue run of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero from Marvel and IDW. I hope Larry Hama continues it with issue 301 with the next publisher.
Hearing he's working on a Carnage 1 shot is cool to hear.
Awesome creator and awesome interview. I loved his Gi Joe!! I sure wish Marvel would get the rights and release some omnis.
THANK YOU for this @NearMintCondition
So many great interviews I’m having a tough time catching up. So I’m just leaving a filled comment for now. Can’t wait to watch this!
How do we start getting Omnis of this epic GI Joe run?!?
any news on that?
isn't marvel the rights holder now
IDW produced some, and the new company, Skybound, will have the rights to print some, as well.
@@SAFFRONINFERNO Hasbro owns the rights, and allows the current company to reprint the stories.
@@GregoryPeterson-qd3sx Which current company?
@@GregoryPeterson-qd3sx IS there any announcement from SKYBOUND on that?
Why are the new Hasbro licence holders so secretive?
Can we at least get a date when the publisher of Hasbro properties will be announced?
His Batman run was very short and not regarded very well. I know he mentioned (without mentioning) they sent him a huge bible for the character and I would like to know how much outside interference there was and if that lead in his deciding not to stay on the book past the first arc.
I am not happy with the fact that comic book writer: Larry Hama cursed In this Interview, But, Otherwise, I thought that this Interview was good.
Cool interview.
