Pseudotumor Cerebri has many more symptoms than this. Also, 40% of people with PTC have significant loss of income and quality of life.

AFAB and AMAB is pretty standard across all major medical associations. While they mean the same as female/male, AFAB/AMAB’s connotation emphasizes the difference between sex and gender.

I am 18 years old. I was diagnosed with a disease 9 months ago. I had a lumbar proton shunt implanted twice in a row because the first one broke and the second time the surgeon did not install it correctly. It also failed now. I am on treatment with diuretics and some stomach and glaucoma medications and headache medications such as Advil. I was infected with viral spinal fever twice because of the shunts. Now the surgeon. He is putting pressure on me to implant a third shunt because I started to lose my vision due to pressure on the optic nerve. I am a man and I am not obese. My weight is 65 and I do not have any other disease.

It's not PSEUDO anything...and losing weight doesn't cure it. I've had it for 24 years. CSF is almost immediately replaced so withdrawals during an LP last for no time at all. My very first opening pressure was 61.

I have normal opening pressure which leads me to suspect the narcisstic doctors diagnosed me with a wrong condition… I suspect pituitary disorder or hypothalamus! And partially empty sella is an indication. If I had IIH I would have had relief with a spinal lumbar puncture which I did not. But the doctors wanted me on my merry way 😂😂😂
