- Clinton Hill, Jacqueline Kennedy's Secret Service detail, shares memories of the Kennedy White House and his service protecting the first family with Tom Putnam, director of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
Thank you Mr Hill.
Mr. Hill thank you so much for your service to our country.
Yes._. When jackie failed to slash his throat you came through._. Good job._. Not everyone believes media._.
DERRICK YOU ARE SICK!
Nadine Bowling mm mmm mmm
Mr. Clint Hill has a sharp memory.
what a gr8 guy, thnk u mr hill for ur support for mrs kennedy.
Oh my gosh-how wonderful , Miss Jackie was surely our best.
She was amazing, I love everything about the Kennedys. Especially her son. John John.
Even their multiple extramarital affairs? How bout drunk driving & killing 1 of those "affairs"? Pretty cool.
Mr. Clint Hill has a sharp memory.
Mr Hill was a gallant and honorable man.
I wish the overall volume was louder/higher. I can barely hear the sound,
It never ceases to amaze me how for the most part, these men are/were looked at as servents and treated rudely. If I were the president, I would treat them with the utmost respect. These guys are willing to sacrifice themselves. I think respect for them is definitely a basic requirement.
Steve Which part of Mr. Hill’s recounting of events sounded like he or any other Secret Service agent were treated as disrespected servants?

In particular Johnson was an egotistical self-righteous bastard. In the modern era, presidents like Nixon and Clinton (and his bitch wife) looked at them like they're servants who need to bow and kiss the ring.

They were looked at as servants, instead of the person willing to trade their lives for the president.. In particular, you should read SS Agent Dan Bongino's account of how they were treated.
Steve I understand there are some who were taken for granted by people like Hellary (Ugh, she’s a beating to everyone.). They were employees, not servants, and they described their interactions with the different presidents as mutually respectful.
What a beautiful woman Jacqueline was!! Only wish they had turned the volume up!
He is in his 90s now and far as i know he is still living
It would be great that Jacqueline Kennedy's grandchildren should meet Clint Hill in person and share his story with them how he did his duty in protecting their grandmother after their grandfather was shot on that fateful day.
Thats another baum scare story._.
This sounds like the basis for the movie "the bodyguard"
Why in the world didn't give Mr. Hill some water?!!! Poor guy struggling to talk, and they just ognore it.
I can't believe they didn't provide some water for Mr. Hill while he spoke for such a long time. Really good lecture.
These programs about the Secret Service (and by them) are virtually worthless. What you need to read is "Survivor's Guilt" by Vince Palamara (and view related videos). This organization was guilty MINIMALLY of criminal negligence and dereliction of duty...on that fateful day (and probably much worse)!!! The "SS" failed to do their job of protecting the President...and they..along with the FBI... were guilty of plenty of manipulation and destruction of evidence in this case, both witness testimony and physical evidence. What's more, NONE of the "SS" agents received as much as a "slap on the wrist" for poor performance..which is ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS!!
This is great. Seen him in person speak at the Newseum and this is the most fun I've seen him have in any videos talking about the past. Cool to see!
I slept and i dreamt that life was joy. I woke and saw that life was duty. I acted and behold duty was joy.
Thank you for calling her Jacqueline, she did not like the ugly nickname Jackie
Sound is very very low.
Audio level is several dB low☹️
Open air camera microphone?
Requesting that man to hike 50 miles, to accompany Jackie's friends, starting at midnight, without the required notice or clothing / footwear was appalling treatment of the Secret Service by Jackie Kennedy and the President. He was a government employee, employed to protect Jackie, he should have flatly refused or at least told them and looked for a new job.
Undaunted valor!
The president of the United States even in those days should have not been riding around town in a convertible and it seems the government treated the secret service crappy with a lousy paycheck when they had to put their life at risk all the time were not fed for free while on duty im sure the president and family ate great and were waited on hand and foot 24 hours a day plus the secret service job is not running miles especially when they were given no avance notice to were proper shoes and clothes for jogging for miles then having to finish their shifts it seems like the rich have little respect at times for their hired help and security
Mr Hill is absolutely great. A true patriot.
Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis deserves immense respect for what she did to restore the White House and for the terrible days in 11/63 but overall she sounded like a terribly spoiled, selfish, spendthrift, snotty, self centered person who had absolutely no idea how the real world worked for the average American.
Jacqueline Bouvier was a fortune chaser! Her mom and dad were not wealthy. Her stepfather Hughdie Auchincloss was wealthy and had assets worth over 250 million. Aristotle Onassis was wealthier than Hugh Auchincloss at 500 million.
Cough drop😮
Miller Kenneth Wilson Donna Miller Maria
.
Clint Hill needed 3 more seconds to get to the car to protect JFK. Oswald did not give him that time.
BALONEY!!!

Right? What man in his '20's with a wife and 2 children to support, protecting the wife of the most powerful man in the country, would not want to rebel and get himself fired? Good call. Haha! ;-)
It is terrible because he was off and he was asleep and he didn't have the right shoes and he killed his feet and they didn't give advance notice and why does it have to begin at midnight. I agree that they should not have asked for him to do that. They were paid very little money and they had to pay for their own clothes and shoes which were always getting ruined by the gun rubbing against them and the shoes are always wearing out. These men work double in triple shifts and they didn't get food and they didn't get sleep. And they had $12 A-day to pay for their own hotel and food and laundry et cetera. Is an extremely difficult job that they did so well. It was the president who wanted people to be able to come to him and he didn't want the bubble top and he didn't want people on the car and he put his own life at risk AM the governor and everyone else around him.
If Democrats can do this to one of their own, I worry about Trump daily... #Trump2020
Trump is the devil. He is immortal
😝😝😝😏
Why not ask Clint Hill about Z-Film.Frames 312, 313, 314, some of the frames were reversed and and edited. These Frames, originally not public, reveal the best angle to shoot Jack's shull had to come from within the Vehicle. All then in the vehicle are suspects, including left-handed Jackie. 😭 Clint removed evidences, the pink hat, the whte gloves, likely gun smoked, and likely a small gun and the shell. Ask him.
How sad that there was such a little protection for the President of the United States. Those were dangerous times as well but apparently there was no concern for safety. Those Secret Service agents were away from their families for weeks and sometimes months at a time. Now we spend millions of Dollars to build cars for safety. Oh well I guess you have to go through hell like we’re going through now to figure out the things need to change.
not seem real, that bobby and john,jr both were taken ....is there a god?
why did he have her husband killed and part of the plot
Part of the os/oz enigma._.
dumb ass
cecilia preziose, A horribly evil thing to say when you have absolutely NO proof... After the first shot, Mr. Hill actually put himself in the line of fire when he ran to the Kennedy limousine from the Secret Service follow up car, even though shots were still being fired. When he was finally in reach of the Kennedy limousine, the fatal shot struck President Kennedy in the head. How about doing your research, and taking another look at the Zapruder film, which clearly shows this. Mr. Hill really loved the President, First Lady, their children, and the entire Kennedy family. It’s all in his book, “Mrs. Kennedy and Me”. Shame on you for your profound ignorance!
Hill's face shows a tormented milage.
His coughing disturbing
He must have copd
Trying to get along with out oxygen
Yes he was a smoker and he had COP D and he is on oxygen now today. And he does have a bad cough.
