- By far one of the most important aspects of modern armwrestling is knowing how to pull in the straps. The strap in Devon's opinion is what real armwrestling is about, and in Part 8 of the series Devon shows you how to work the strap setup in your favour and how to become a better armwrestler when the straps inevitably go on.

+Wes Hicks Voevoda seemed very real to me too. Pushkar and Zoloev are also down to earth guys, and the only problem is, most of their stuff is in Russian. But since I decided to get better at Russian, I actually like it. :-)
bakters voevoda i dont much care for, especially his early stuff, he had this weird superman complex, would put on stunts like 4 people pulling his arm with straps and what not, theatrics like that, when taken seriously, are off putting to me, but zoloev i agree, i like his interviews and seminars as well
***** Voyevoda is cool too. I mean it. His showy stuff is like Larrat's "can opener" or so. He knows what it is, and where it ends.

oh my goodness i laughed so much during this video, Larrat is just awesome :D
Tips: 1) Keep your hand high so strap can rest lower on your hand
2) push other opponents hand down with your bottom fingers when second persons wrist is being wrapped
3) push toward person and up to get some leverage back if you have too much taken away after strap is tightened
4) pretend you are trying to tighten the strap and readjust if needed
5) last resort: say it’s horrible and take off the strap 😂
He is just giving it to them 100 % honest. Was hilarious but true.
