This is a character-gameplay overhaul mod replacing Sonic with Mighty. Originally, this was just going to be a skin mod and little more, but ended up spurring to make it a much bigger and more thorough character mod. MiSCD replaces almost every Sonic graphic with Mighty (excluding the huge Sonic render in the menu), replaces Sonic's Super Peel-Out with new abilities, adds interactions between Mighty and several Badniks and obstacles, and skips the intro and outro FMVs like when playing as Tails.
MiSCD is built on top of the Parity updates and fixes mod by TheA_Gamer554, and includes modifications of the scripts included with it. Playing MiSCD with the mod is not recommended however.
Mighty retains his protective shell gimmick from Sonic Mania Plus in combination with a heavy reinterpretation of his wall kick ability from Chaotix.

Mighty's Shell:
This works exactly as it did in Mania Plus with one difference: where sometimes Mighty would get thrown back in a fixed angle when uncurling, now his arc is dependent on the angle on the object he gets uncurled from. This allows him to maintain momentum in uncurling in more situations than he could in Mania Plus.
Mighty's shell protects him from the damage of spikes and other select obstacles when he's jumping, rolling, crouching, or clinging to a wall. Bigger obstacles may uncurl Mighty from a jump, roll, or cling, sending him into a semi-vulnerable freefall (most large obstacles won't hurt him on the way down, but enemies and spikes still can), while smaller obstacles will bounce him around harmlessly and leave him in a rolling or crouching state. Mighty is also completely invulnerable to badniks while crouching, a trait he even had in Mania Plus! On top of all this, he shrugs off most projectiles in the game if he's jumping, rolling, crouching, or clinging to a wall. It can be very easy to avoid getting hurt as Mighty in this game!
Mighty's Wall Kick:
Inspired by his wall kick in Chaotix, Mighty's wall kick in MiSCD has multiple angles it can send him in depending on player input.
To cling to a wall, hold the direction toward the wall and press and hold jump. While clinging, let go of jump to kick off of the wall. What direction you're holding when you release jump will determine the angle and speed of your kick. The variety of ways you can leap off walls allows for some very flashy gameplay, so play around with it and get a feel for what you can do with them!

I'm glad Mighty is getting the Love he deserves. Mighty is my favorite character. this mod is flawless it has the wall jump and ground pound.
So happy this turned into a character overhaul mod and not the boring reskin mod crappyblue originally had in plan. We need more character overhaul mods like this, and I don't mean just adding a basic double jump.

I love how the sprites look! Also the fact that he changed the pitch of Sonic's soundclip's to fit mighty is a nice detail.
Though, I feel like he should have his hammer drop move from maina.

This is probably the best character mod that I've seen, compared to the other mod you've done with this game in the past from a few months ago (playing as Cream the rabbit.) I was impressed to see no flaws with the design, which is something the last developer should learn from this current developer (if they're both different.) Nice upload by the way, and I hope an upcoming update brings the ability of Mighty onto CD 👌🏾
he does have abilities, actually! they're just not showcased in this video hardly at all. he has his shell mechanic from mania and his wall kick from chaotix
