Big hint as leveling will slow down as you quickly plow through the chapters. Finish Ch 4 and head straight to Mist cavern (lvl 51). I went there at lvl 38-42 and ran away from monsters except the Cait. Easy 100k Exp and most chars are in the upper 40s to 50s in like an hour. Get skills with triple attacks and you earn a ton of gold too.
this cait is the higher in whole game you can meet? and what do you mean chapter 4 im on the chapter with king pradiss so after that will be that location?
@@norman20100 I think you can meet a higher one. They seem to go up every 10 lvls or so. Later on, you can get special Large nuts that give 500k to 1M Exp and that will be your primary way. Most cavern is exceptional though since it’s easy to port to and the normal monsters give nice mats to armor your characters to 55 to 47. So it’s like killing 3 birds in one stone (Exp, gold, and equipment). And yes it’s after the sand king.
@@norman20100 No, it's not the last one. 'Last' cait I can 100% confirm is 300k exp in lvl 60+ zones with 45 HP/15 shields... That one is somewhat hard since it has 45 HP and 15 shields, which is a lot and not something you can do with any party in 3 turns(the only 'reasonable' chance of him not fleeing is lowering shield turn 1 > pray that he does not flee and then break turn 2 and kill on 3) This is doable for 100k exp cait who has 40 HP/15 shields somewhat fine... a little over 3 attacks per character each turn.. which is doable, since you will have at least one full turn of 4 attacks and it's not hard to get a party where at least 4 characters have x3 attacks skill... if you add in 3 ally uses - the thing will become trivial. But for 300k exp one it's problematic without very specific setups. For 300k exp ome the 'least' you need is 4 characters with +1 BP(so both 2nd and 3rd turn are x4 atks) and first turn needs to be a total of 13 attacks(so one character needs to do 4 attacks and all other 3 attacks.. or some other mix of attacks obviously).. there is a trick though - you can use 'allies' 3 times to help you breach this into more reasonable tier easier.. That being said it's not 'last cait' either, but I am currently gated on chapter 8 'of all'(last hard one, the 'final' chapter is easier) with levels ~54-57 and can't confirm if EN version has content past 'of all' story or not yet. A bit too lazy to purely grind, so mostly just waiting day reset and beating everything else there is to beat that's barely giving exp at this point. The actual best cait(actually has lower gold gain, but gold is something you will never have problem with - you will likely reach the cap of 99.9m before long) is in entirely new story arc and is actually super easy - a mere 20 HP/10 shield and gives 450k(more due to exp boost from influence and possible accessories/passives) exp... There are also new towns similar to ones near where you found those lvl 1 cait spawns.. except you will now be able to get 'special' caits every 20 hours which give 200/300k exp and don't flee, a very solid addition to nameless town/hunts that almost any party can reliably defeat with 0 RNG. So far those are the last ones in JP and are in essentially all content that is after 'of all' story, right from the beginning of entirely new story arc. I would say if we got the start of this story arc already - with final 'daily gains' of exp - progressing any fresh unit until lvl ~70s is super fast, the slow down starts there approx... but equipment stops at 60-70(eventually best equip is in fact 60, despite there being higher lvl ones), so the actual 'setup' becomes more important than a few extra levels once you reach ~lvl 70 due to equipment no longer upgrading your characters further skyhigh.
@@hentaicheg Just to ask but Caits dont take anything more than 1 Damage per hit right? so there is no point of me boosting my skills for more damage/trying to lower defences?
Other tip is to use the 3 small caits (newbie zones) and use them to get your lvl 1 chars to 15 and just open the boards up to get influence. It adds up very quickly.
If you have a status effect like bleed or poison, it will still proc in the backrow but so far I haven't seen any mobs attack the backrow aswell. Also the star levels kind of affect stats due to the learn skill board ( could be wrong). If you have a 3/4 star character, as soon as you get the the 4 star varient, you will unlock the last board which gives you additional stats and skills but you are correct in terms of it doesnt affect the base stats. A 3/4 star character will have the same base stats as its 4 star variant.
