    Two tips:
AJ, you use an eastern grip for your backhand slice. Use a full continental and you’ll get more net clearance and backspin.
Phil, your ready position is quite bad. Your racquet should be in front of your body with your hands on the grill, under your racquet head, ready to move in either direction.

I love watching this channel, as someone who’s just got into tennis a few months back it helps me get and idea of what my own NTRP might be! I have a cousin who I play regularly with and we usually have close games. Normally ends at 6-8 or 7-8 8 game pro set matches. I’d say we’re about a 3.0 NTRP not just yet a 3.5 but getting there!
    Thank you for the content!

@@scrubsplay Yeah, I was in the (UA-cam) neighborhood, and saw that A.J. (3.0) was playing Phil (3.5). A good challenge match. I wish I could move like you fellas! US Open is right around the corner. Who's your pick? Alcatraz, Djokovic, or somebody else?

It was a good match. The thing that caught my eye the most was A.J.s racquet head speed. It's time to swing faster on both sides.
Make sure to complete the follow through, and maybe, just maybe, add a bit of more forearm pronation on the forehand. But I would go with faster swing with complete follow through first.

Turn the racket back on the forehand side, think of the racket being drawn back about the hip line. You’re reaching without a turn which is sending the ball long

And second serve, get the racket dropped and travelling behind the head
