"Of course she's happy, she's drunk" 😂
That was definitely a tipsy response on her part 🤣🤣🤣
It killed me XDD
Hahahagahaha
Lol
She’s gonna wake up in the morning and say what the fuck did l do and what’s wrong with me spending $1000 on a hair cut
I don’t get it she went from a scene teenage haircut to a 70’s actress so...$1,000..? NAH
So basically, for a $1000 haircut you're paying for:
75% compliments from a fancy, vaguely European guy
20% wine and unecessary pampering
5% haircut
Haha, "vaguely European". What a great description.
As a European it sometimes feels like the women in the rest of the world put way too much stock into getting compliments from vaguely European looking/sounding guys lmao.
😂😂😂
@@idalia799I guess it still is some unconcious link that Europe is seen as the centre of high arts and culture like back in the day so Sounding European sounds sophisticated even though most of us really aren't
@@hdroman5659 especially Nordic countries… people missing out on basic manners. Overhyped aggressive pr for decades… that’s it. Cheers from Denmark
Being an introvert, I actually hate it when the hairdresser tries to chit chat with me. I find it exhausting talking about nothing in particular with total strangers. And compliments just make me uncomfortable, especially if they're not sincere. Looks like pure hell to me.
same!
Yep
A decent stylist will read their client and act accordingly. When I was behind the chair if I had a quiet client I didn't get offended and just made sure they were taken care of and ok. If I had a talker I had a talker. You figure out who you're dealing with. Sometimes your talkers even need a quiet time and the silent folks sometimes come in and need to talk.
Me too 😌
This is why I stopped going to get my hair cut, I just cut it myself. My husband cuts the back, one time he caught my ear and the blood flowed for awhile. But it was worth it not having to pretend I'm a nice person.
For 1500 I’m buying a ticket to Belgium and getting my hair cut by you! Love you hair Buddha!!!
Same here!
TBH, I didn't see that much difference in the before and after on the $1500 one. I don't think the girl was that impressed either.
Me too I'm there come do my hair please Hair Buddha. The last time I got my hair cut she beat my head every time she brushed my hair with the comb I think I have ptsd now from that experience.
I second that.
I'm going with you!
same ! And bring you champagne !!!
The 1500 haircut was just taking off dead ends and some length, with some shiny oil and a blowout... Like, what?
Exactly, and after all that fancy scissor work, which he thinks makes him look fancy and a professional, it looked exactly the same, just shorter, I would have definitely asked for a refund
Looks the same just smoother, easy enough to do that with some serum
Yeah exactly! And so much bulk on the bottom :/
@@terranniet Good catch.
Right I was expecting he'd really change up her hair
If someone told me that they'd paid that much for mediocre haircuts, I'd start laughing.
Both haircuts look like they could have cost 50 $. The prices are insane.
Or less
One of my favorite and most pampered hair experiences was as a walk in to a JC Penny in Rochester, NY: I paid $40 for an Olaplex treatment/ a trim/ a blow out, and a style w/ a curling iron. I gave her $50 for a tip because she was so incredibly lovely and meticulous, plus she filled me in on the entire first season of Bridgerton. She did it because she was a nice human being. I WISH I could have afforded to give her $1500 ❤️
Jenny Raub
Your awesome
Awesome I did that too in the 80's when haircuts were only 15$....it was the best hair experience...
You are a amazing and lovely kind Person ❣🍀💓✌ All the Best to you - Karma comes back to you, I hope 😍🤗😉.
The most annoying thing about the 1500 haircut was that the client clearly had curly hair and maybe did not know how to style it. My favorite stylist in my city told me my hair is curly and taught me how to style it without any extra charge and it literally changed my life because up to that point I also thought my hair is "unpredictable". I paid around 60$...
Tbh as someone with textured hair, I embrace the irregularities of my hair. ❤️
She needs a curly cut if she's as low maintence as she states. She also needs education on proper hydration and perhaps a lesson on proper use of a diffuser and some product. Easy enough.
The 1.5K hairdressers probably don''t know there are any other hair beyond straight.
Can’t believe I’m saying this but at least the price of the first haircut made more sense because it had more pampering than the last one. The last girl didn’t even look happy at the end and she paid so much more. She really is just paying for the hairdresser’s chiropractor bills for doing those funny looking hair cutting gymnastics.
🙈
That got me the most, she didn’t even look like she liked it!!
@@AllisonLSaysSup The moment when she realized what just happened.
which video is that
She got scammed. They only charge for gimmics.
Man, that guy spins quite the story. "I was always good at math, but I never went to school?" Easy to say you're good at math, especially when you never went to school. He really raises red flags for me.
I worked in the hairdressing industry and let me tell you how wonderful it is to hear a hairdresser / barber actually say that some people simply cannot afford to go to a hairdresser! This was my constant battle and used to anger me so much!! Once I had to organize a seminar for a kind of famous hairdresser who was boasting that a haircut in one of his salons was 500€😵 and that if you care for your hair you will not think about the price. He spent an hour on stage trying to convince local hairdressers to up their prices. But the hairdressers were loosing clients because of the prices. I think in his mind we were still living in the 80’s 😄
PS: We never worked with him again after that fail of a seminar 😁
Thank you. I have never had so much extra that I could pay hundreds to a hairdresser, and even if I did I'd feel stupid paying that much. For me it's just hair and no one rarely notices anyway.
I feel like what that second girl actually needed was some techniques to bring out the beauty of her curly hair
It's not worth it at all, I feel like they're tricking themselves into liking it cause of the amount they paid. If I was paying a large amount I would want something completely new; not just minor adjustments to make it sit right
I totally agree with you I would be so damn mad if I paid that much and my hair is almost the damn same. Honestly her hair didn’t look to different it just look like he curled it a little, the last lady didn’t look so happy
The first lady barely looked any different but it looked much better than the second haircut.
I was honestly more impressed with the pedicure...
She looked a little different, wish she had not put the old fringe back as that new style looked great. Having said that, she did feel that her hair had more shape and style than before.
To me, it looked like the "new" cut/style aged her. She looked late twenties beforehand and left looking like she was mid 30s.
If I gave all my clients that much champagne, and wrote a fairytale for each layer, they should be that happy.
Girl #2 was unimpressed.
Also dude said the equivalent of "These are my shears. I call them shears" Thanks dude, we call them the same.
Hahahhaha a fairytale
I don't think girl 2 will ever be happy with her hair. Genetics didn't give her what she truly wants it seems.
I was unimpressed with the second haircut too. I bet his back went out halfway through. I've given myself better cuts than that. (Without the back pain or the dent in my wallet)
“Thanks dude, we call them shears” 😂😂😂😂😂
This guys are just really smooth talkers 😂 Their skills are those of any hairdresser that had proper training/studies.
Honestly, most hairdressers are as good if not better. The first girl looks cute with the style, though, and the second looks...cute but exactly the same.
@Georgy Porgy I disagree a vulnerable person will not pay $1000 for a haircut lol
Is it worth it? my answer is NO! mediocre results at best. Like you said, some people have that amount of money to spend on the experience and that's it really. The first guy though! he's selling an image.. a fantasy.. French accent and scarf and then came the results.. ummm no thanks bye lol
Your absolutely right, I could not have said it better myself. I agree no thanx bye lol
The first guys results were far better than the second guys results. All that flipping and bending was uncalled for and in the end she ended up with a shorter version of what she started with. The first guy had a vision and he accomplished the vision in my opinion. I loved her new bangs though she did not, and he gave her a cut and style that she clearly is able to do at home. So if, IF I had the money to waste, then I would trust my hair to guy number 1.
Agree!
Agreed
The scarf!!!
If a hairdresser feels his work is threatened by amateurs with a bit of knowledge as opposed to no knowledge maybe they weren't good professionals to start with
I am a hairdresser, and totally agree.
Agree ❤
You just KNOW if they had a standard American accent they wouldn’t be able to sell it as easily!😅
🤣
If someone told me even $500 for just a haircut I would laugh so hard I would roll on the floor laughing and then leave, I don't fall for gimmicks and I am not needy, or gullible, I am willing to pay a good professional for a nice job, but these guys are scam artists, lol this was very special, thank you. LOL
Lol as soon as he said "I call these texturizing scissors" I lost it. That guy is doing too much
Yeah, that was something else. I’m not even a hairdresser and I know that is what they are called.
Horrible cutting techniques and they're thinning shears.
OMG HAHAHAHA HB" Of course she likes it, she's drunk " Best quote EVER LOL HAHAHA
One of the reasons I love your videos is you NEVER ridicule the person but instead explain where they went wrong and how they could have got better results. As you say people will always do their hair at home,if you can help them get better results that is fabulous, ignore the people saying otherwise
👍
I wouldn't even spend 200 for a hair cut. Alot of compliments and and accent wouldn't make me come off $1k.
I wasn't impressed with either one, truthfully. The first cut looked horrible - the layers were wonky and it made her hair look thinner, especially when she started styling it herself. The second cut was just a 'cut'. Nothing special at all. My hairdresser does better and charges only $45!
And probably gives better conversation
Wendy Foley
I agree, also $45 is way better than what they paid
My shoulder lenght costs 35 eur.
I don't get why coloring my roots (just roots because same color for years) costs 65 eur..
Thank you! Totally agree on the first one especially. She kept raving on about how good her hair looks, i think she's delusional or still drunk 💀 her hair looked painfully average. 1000$ for a slight trim, that kind of money I'd rather spend on a trip to Belgium and get my haircut done by Hair Buddha himself!
The second lady has wavy hair. She just needs to learn how to properly care for her hair type. 1500$ for what? For sitting in a chair watching a guy put on theatrics while giving you a trim 👎🏽
🙈
Totally agree, she needs to see a hairdresser familiar with her hair type that can cut according to the texture, not just get a generic haircut
Same! I still have no idea wth to do with my very thick wavy and curly hair! As she says, it has a mind of its own and it's always a surprise. It has it's good and more often bad days. 😩
If anyone has any advice, I'm listening!
I have the same type of hair. That was such a boring haircut. I have s Polish hairdresser (who barely speaks English) and she gives me a very nice haircut for a lot less money. And this lady probably doesn't use the right products for thick and wavy hair.
Immediately thought of that when the second one showed up! All she needed was a lesson on how to take care of her lovely waves. He needed to give her moisture not an overpriced trim.
Honestly I’m a hairdresser and I love all of your videos. I find these videos hysterical because we all have each one of these clients that you show in your fail videos. And there’s nothing wrong with you educating people 😊
I love Hair Buddha's look to the camera after the hairdresser says ' you have the best hair, the best face and the best eyes'
I was expecting a huge transformation. For that kind of money they both should've gotten a cut, color, & champagne.
That first haircut is a haircut you could get from any hairdresser with decent training. And all the extras are just unnecessary. What a waste, what a ripoff.
The second haircut was literally just... a haircut, like her hair was a little shorter and then he used some product and a blow dryer. You can use product and a blow dryer at any salon or at home.
True but for that amount I would like a bit of pampering. If I got the second style I would have been disappointed as I like to feel a little bit different to when I walked in.
He didn't consider she said she is low maintenance. I have curly hair and have been caring for it for 48 years with basically shampoo, conditioner and leave-in. Don't give me a cut that I will need a hair dryer to make it look ok.
He's so down to earth and honest. Love it.
"of course she's happy, she's drunk!" 🤣🤣
He did a good job but I live in the Midwest and you can get a cut and style at a good salon for $50. I would NEVER pay $1000🤣
I've lived in New York, Chicago, London, and Paris among other cities. My hair is long, fine and wavy/slightly curly.
I am extremely protective of it as I absolutely love it. I would NEVER pay anything like that.
Ohio here, I agree. Things are cheaper here. I've paid $85 for a cut and shampoo at a fancy salon, and that felt crazy. This is insanity to me!
yeah i would never pay a 1000 even if i could miss it easily, if i ever get famous i will proably still go for my 24 dollar haircuts
I was going to say the same. We have some great hairstylist around my area and do an amazing job for around $50 so i wouldn't pay that either
I call B.S. . I live in the midwwest and wont go to a salon if my life depended on it everytime i ever have they screwed up my hair so bad i was crying by the end of it. I either cut my own hair or have my cousin do it, so i know it wont be jacked after. But i rarely cut it at all anymore. Cant wait for the day i live somewhere where i can go to one without knowing my hair is gonna be murdered. But agree no haircut is worth $1000 thats just insanity.
I get a haircut for 40$ and I'm more happy with it while sober than she was buzzed or drunk. 1000$ just to have someone tell me I'm beautiful, not worth it.
not beautiful. A PRINCESS !!!
@@hair-buddha my husband tells me every single day I'm a princess ha ha. But I suppose not everyone has someone to tell them that.
I don't want or need anyone to tell me I look like a princess. I want to feel confident, happy and respected.
If he says I'm beautiful doing my fabulous, darling hair 😂 I would think the hairdresser is pissed on his own champagne
@@Happyndaft 🤣🤣🤣🤣 same here
Wow, the second one was a waste of money. I've been cutting my own hair for twenty years, and can get better results. Teaching her to take better care of her hair would help considerably.
The second girl looked like she wanted to say "is that it!???" He did SO much, with products, that we never end up doing at home! It doesn't look much different
Exactly. She looked disappointed.
I don’t really like the over the top flattery, I think it would make me feel uncomfortable as it’s so false. I guess it appeals to a certain kind of women
I agree,so fake!
Explain "a certain kind of women'? Do you mean a woman who is fully aware of what's happening but is there to have fun? Maybe to experience something like this once in their life? Maybe they don't have a corn-cob stuck where the sun doesn't shine. You don't like it for yourself, fine, great, stop there. Spare the World your smug condescension.
@@suzetridesanandalusian8529 you're making their comment deeper than it really is 😂 why did you take so much offence lmao
Sometimes it's nice to be pampered and escape the day to day. I wouldn't like it every time I had my hair cut , that would not feel genuine after a while . I have my hair cut very short but I used to love having a head massage and sitting for a while while the stylist worked out the best style for me that was low maintenance and didn't require too much extra care other than washing it.
@@suzetridesanandalusian8529 spare us your personal assessment sis: it’s not directed towards you, so SHUSH 🤫
First of all - I think you're right about giving tips. A lot of people will cut of colour their hair, because they want to experiment, or can't afford to go to the salon. They will, most probably, at some point, when they have more money or want professional help. Sharing your knowledge on UA-cam will not affect the industry, but might help some clueless broke person look and feel good, and those who go to the salons will know what to ask for, which is also important. For the 1000$ haircut - a bit "meh". The truth is, all the "structure, how your hair sets naturally, low maintenance at home" is something my hairdresser provides. And she is very much a hairdresser, a craftswoman, not a stylist. I think the price is so high because they are selling an expirience, and an ilussion of belonging into a better world. And people are willing to Pay a lot to feel like they are part of the magical world of champagne and celebrities, and feel special. The big Secret is you can feel special visiting any salon, if the people who work there are really good in their trade and listen to you.
♥️
"clueless broke person" ha ha I'm not clueless, nor broke, but choose to do it myself because I can. Not offended, just found your description amusing. You're one who calls it the way you see it (whether or not it's actually true) and I appreciate that.
Yes, just go regulary, and they will treat you good. I do hybrid: I dye my hair 3 of 4 times alone, but then I go to the hairdresser just not having to move a finger. And for haircut too.
There is no reason to feel threatened. People that can't pay won't pay no matter what. People that can pay will if they find a great professional.
You about killed me with the second one with he's charging so much to pay for his chiropractor lmao
🙈🤪
I would've honestly cried if I was the second lady wow. I would love to show her how to take care of those beautiful waves.
“You’re going to feel aMAAAzing!” Not only does the alcohol help that feeling, but so does the price of the cut. It’s a way of justifying the money you’ve paid! Also, as an aside, I suspect that celebrities who pay this kind of money for beautification have very good tax attorneys who know how to write this stuff off as a “business” or career expense!💵😄
And many wi the cut to say they cut in this hairdresser.
So they paid the guy 1500 to trim her hair....k 😳🙄
Excellent remark about pricing. “You can charge what the client is willing to pay”
hair buddha is like the family uncle that's super sweet tells you salon stories and cuts your hair for you when you want a good one
This man is awesome. Love the realism. Dude, I dropped my phone and lost my drink when he was like “she is drunk!” Hahaha man!!! Great vids!!!
🤣
I am not crazy for any of these cuts. Both ladies ended up looking somewhat the same as before, with a mild difference in length. The first hairdresser had a vision at least, and he went for it, even though I didn't care for it at the end. The second guy did not even have that. He twisted the hair unnecessarily, to make it look like he is doing something extra professional, he was twisted and bent down, which is also unnecessary. 17:29 for eample: he twists the hair but it ends up in the posiiton it would be without the twisting. Soooo.....
Both of these guys sell an image. They, as persons and as professionals, have an image you can buy, and the salon gives you extra pampering. The haircuts were mediocre for me in both cases, the second guy took it too far with acting artsy and bending in each directions. We all know that second lady woke up the next day and she had the same frizzy, stubborn hair she always had and not even her SO could tell she had gotten a 1500 dollar haircut the previous day.
This is an average haircut with a show around it. It's for the rich.
I’m a hairdresser as well and watching the second stylists posture while cutting, gave me a back ache by association 😂
It’s amazing to see how “the others” live...$1000 for a haircut, meanwhile half the people in my working class town in the USA can’t afford proper dental or medical care 😭 Good for those people that can afford these luxuries though lol
I liked the first hair cut it looked stylish. They made sure the customer was comfortable and the hairdresser spent more time talking and understanding the lady's needs. Also you seen the results after the cut. It looked good. The second hair cut wasn't anywhere near the same the hairdresser didn't spend a lot of time talking to understand the customer's needs. I would have expected more from the second hairdresser then what he did to the customer I feel after all we seen of the hairdresser cutting the lady's hair it didn't seem to show much differents. The second lady didn't give a great reaction to her new style. I detected some disappointment her face.
1:30 I mean people WILL do their hair at home no matter what so at least they know what to do / not to do instead of completely ruining their hair.
3:26 your face says it all! I can't!
The last thing I want at the salon is to be warm, drunk, and comfortable. My stylist needs my feedback when she asks, and I need to be able to know what I want to tell her when she asks. I'm the one living with the cut and colour after all. Yikes! Coffee and a chat is all im good with, sis!
That’s a really good point. Stylists aren’t mind readers, you’ve got to talk to them. No way I’d chance not talking to mine once my butt was in that chair!
Omg I loved your breakdown of these crazy priced cuts! 🤣🤣🤣 the guy with the back problems! 💇🏻♀️🕺🏻🤣
thx for watching
After the second guy was done her hair still pretty much looked the same to me
Yep. Just shorter. She literally paid 1.5K for a trimm. Her clear disappointment showed it.
So to charge $1000 you've got to talk a lot of b.s.....finally something I'm good at...
Wanna go into business together?
🤣
I'll just keep cutting my own hair in my bathroom. No way would I pay that 😳🤣
I love the honest chat you express about this overpaid hair cuts.
When the hair stylist says something manipulative and you turn and look at the camera LOL
Well it's manipulative in my opinion anyway. I agree with you and the comment section, your subscribers are so funny too ^_^
♥️
Yeah it was funny watching his face. He was holding back so much that he wanted to say😂😂😂
I bet we are saying what he wanted to say but didn't because he's a professional lol.
The way the first guy did her hair was very very mid 2000s, hair styles back then were all layered to hell and made the hair look thin as hell 😭 he’s styled it well so it looks like it has volume and body but as soon as that hair is wet and straight it’ll look stringy and flat as hell 😩 I know because I got a very similar cut whilst I was trying to be a cool teenager and yeah it was fine when I put a lot of work into it, but I was a kid going to school early so it ended up being straightened at the most. Which of course only added to the limpness of it 😩
Yes it's true, if you have fine hair, you can not cut too much layers.
@@hair-buddha Is it possible to have layers with fine hair if you have a high density of fine hair?
@@juliaturk7054 I have high density of fine hair. A few longer layers work better. Too many layers and my hair collapses.
It was very ABBA. She could get out of his salon singing Young Queen Only 17.😂
and before that it was all the rage in the 1970s
For $50 I get an amazing haircut by a super sweet girl who has complimented me since I found her at the previous salon and only paid $30. She does a better job than those super expensive haircuts (in my opinion) and is even nicer.
I'm from the Southern Midwest and go to one of the more expensive salons in my town. For full highlights, a cut, and style, I pay about $125. I have very long hair and a lot of it. That also comes with a coffee/drink, a brief neck/shoulder massage, good company, and a good atmosphere. My hairdresser does a fantastic job each time and I've stayed with her for years. I absolutely cannot imagine paying even double what I pay to get my hair done, much less $1,000 or more. It seems like you're paying that much for a name and ego boost.
I’d rather get a bit drunk and go to my local salon. 😊😊😊
🤣
We should all try it the next time and share our experience 😂😂😂
1: get them tipsy, so they will just love everything + 2: good haircut, not bad, nothing extraordinary but solid work = Profit
I think people pay for the experience, which is pure luxury, and not just for a haircut.
If you have the money, why not.
Honestly, the best haircut I ever had was from a French guy who reminds me of the first stylist in the video. He didn’t give me the cut I initially wanted but he gave me the cut I needed. He was like, no no no for your face shape we need to do this and this and have face framing layers here and here, etc. It’s one thing to be able to somewhat copy a hair cut from a photo. It’s on a completely different level to have the skill and knowledge (as well as charisma) to tell a client how you’re going to cut their hair and why. Like we can’t all have the Rachel or (insert current trendy cut here). Not everyone has the face shape or hair type to support every cut! I’d much rather have a skilled stylist create a style with me than get a just ok recreation of something I cannot style correctly.
I’ve felt just as happy as the first girl with my £28 wash, cut and blow dry from my hairdresser.
I cut and color my hair at home all the time and I appreciate your hair tips... And because of them I have not destroyed my hair. ❤️
Lol the chiropractor comment hahahaha 💀😂😂
🤣
You are also helping people because it is hard to find a good stylist. Not everyone who went to school can actually cut hair. I wish you was in AR. I would pay a lot to see what you could do with my aging hair.
I found you channel few days ago and I can’t stop watching it every moment I have free time. I’m from Australia, stuck in Europe for over a year now due to COVID..I’d LOVE if I could come to Belgium and visit the salon you are working at. :) Thank you for your amazing channel and for keeping this horrible circumstances fun and bearable.
thanks for watching
I really don't object to paying extra for a quality service at the salon, but $1000 & $1500???
That's a big NOPE!
“Of course she’s happy she is drunk” 🤣🤣🤣
Don’t listen to people that criticize what your doing. You are helping people to not make the same mistakes twice. You cannot make everyone happy. 😊
From now on you are my favorite hairdresser/adviser. Greetings from Mexico & thank you for the honest opinions 👏👏👏
Hey, Mr. Buddha, not sure if you remember but I asked you a few weeks back about bleaching relaxed hair or using permanent dye so I could finally have purple. I did NOT bleach it, as you told me not to, but I found out how to get it subtle like I wanted and still show up in the sun.
My hair will take reds, greens, and blues, so I took some old manic panic vampire red and mix it in with my arctic fox purple rain and it came out just like I wanted. I didn't expect it work (as in enhancing the purple hues) lol but I thought I'd share that with you even though I don't have a photo for you. Thanks for keeping me from killing my hair. Love your vids. ❤
Hi hair Buddha I did it I took three months to bleach my hair white! I recently went to the salon to do my roots because I didn’t want to ruin the evenness I achieved! The stylist was very impressed by how even my hair was, that my boyfriend used foils, and that it was his first time bleaching! My hair is now a shocking blue and pink after a month of having pure white hair! I’m so happy with the results thank you for your tips!!!
well done 👏
Well I agree with the angles . We called it a precision haircut. Following the lines and shape of the head and face... WOW
It is always better to help people, than to be selfish. Let other hairdresser have their opinions. They just have not the same view as yours. I think you are doing a great job. Much love.
Apparently his texturizing scissors cut a smaller percentage than regular ones. It has a patent. 🙄 I wasn’t overly impressed with either cut. Lots of amazing stylists that don’t charge crazy amounts. I love my hair stylist and she has normal rates.
Yes your stylist does a great job, I love your hair, love that colour looks awesome
@@theroyalgiantgamer5586 thanks! I love fun colors and my girl is awesome. That look was a few years ago. Right now the bottom is fuchsia. I would never do it myself. (Or pay $1000 for a haircut.😳😳)
You’d think he could have used an unbroken comb on the second girl...‘I call it texturising scissors’🤣
The first girl looks like she is straight off the set of the original Charlie's Angels
Yes!!! After the reveal, I thought she got a Farrah Fawcett haircut. It's okay for her hair type and colour but still not worth $1,000. Like your hair will naturally shed and break no matter how good you look after it, so the shape is not going to last after it grows out a certain length.
Yes! Also reminded me of the moms from That 70s Show and The Goldbergs.
I know this is an old comment, but I remembered ABBA.
I’m just saying, at my hairdresser I can get a cut, wash, and style for $30 and my hair will actually look different!
I appreciate what you do by coming on and telling people what they are doing wrong when they are dying their hair. If no one tells them how in the hell, are they ever going to learn. And why wouldn't someone not want someone to do their hair right, instead of ruining their hair. That makes no sense. Thank you for everything you do Hair Buddha, keep up the good job.
That second haircut looks like the cheap cuts down the street. Not much too it at all. Any good hair dresser could do it !
The first cut was nice, but once again, any well trained hair dresser could do it.
Definitely not worth the money.
Hair guru I love your explanation I'm retired hairstylist, and I appreciate what you do because like you said people are going to do it anyway at home why not give them some assistance because what ends up happening the color correction is way more expensive.. or worse the damage and melting your hair completely off.
Your comments are wonderful! Especially when you said that the client was drunk hahaha!!!! It made me laugh a lot!!! Best regards from Argentina!
Wow no way would I spend that much on a haircut
More of these please! Great video.
THX ♥️
The best feeling is attention. So all hairdresser could change that, to give the client what they love.
The salon I used to work in used to offer a "mini holiday" for $100. What did that get you? A facial, a 15 minute neck and back massage, a manicure with polish, A wash, cut, blowdry, and style, a small champagne lunch, and a body wrap. For $1500 we could have pampered the clinet from Friday- Sunday and given them a "mini spa vacation" 🙃
Love how the 1500 guy was shocked she 'only' cuts it once a year - I haven't cut mine in four years. And before that I hadn't in six.
For me it's practically a special treat to get a haircut - I can't imagine going multiple times a year.
I do not like having a manicure & pedicure done at the same time. I want to enjoy each one in and of itself, and concentrate on each one separately. That is a SPA treatment for me!
We’ll said …… you are doing informative videos to help those who want to do their hair at home , nothing wrong with . I’m also a hair dresser and I appreciate your videos . So Thank You .❤️
I once went to vidal sassoon in LA and it was $500 for a cut and highlight. Bonus free lunch ( I was there ALL day) and first hand celebrity gossip 🤫 ps: the bob was *not* the right length for me and my face looked chubby until it grew out, so not worth it 🤦♀️
As a matter of fact, these kinds of videos made me finally go to a hair salon as I suddenly understood WHY I got asked "have you done this yourself?" (to know what's actually in my hair - box dye etc) because that question really scared me before as I felt ashamed. Besides, you're right, people ARE going to do their own hair whether it's wise or not. Might just as well give them advice how not to fry hair hair off completely.
I have my father’s southern Italian hair. It is a dark brunette color, thick, coarse, and mostly straight. I once got a haircut with “texturizing scissors” that was horrible. My hair looked thinned out at the tips, like i had split ends after I washed it. I never let hairdressers use it on my hair again!
I think I have the same hair type but I don't know my heritage. I also have a hard time with hair cuts, that's why I gave up about a decade ago and have been butchering my own hair, but at least it costs me nothing lol, I'm too broke for that. But that been said, I'm considering saving up and go to a decent salon, and hope for the best.
@@user-is7xs1mr9y I don't know if I laugh or cry. I can pay, but I can't find a good hairdresser. I also gave up.
Think I'll pass. My very good friend is a hairdresser and her husband built her a beautiful salon in their home. I've never walked out disappointed. She's amazing.
Okay, I had to pause at 1:41. People like you, who are generous to give at home advice, are bound to receive blessings back ! I believe in the sowing and reaping principles & its always held true in my own business and life. So, I 🙏 many Blessings for you!
I'm also french and canNOT stand the plain and obvious cliché this first guy embodies, YIKES >
This guy reminds me of zohan it’s an Adam Sandler movie, really funny to watch as a hairdresser lol! I’ve only been licensed and working in a salon for a year so far and I really love your videos.. edited to say I cut hair a lot like him and at my salon we charge 32 dollars for a haircut blow dry... shocked he didn’t atleast point cut the layers.. and those curls 😬 yikes
I love that movie!
He said his method was to respect the hair. So, he just trimmed it for 1.5K.😂😂😂😂 What a joke! The 1st girl at least did got a hair cut.
I wish before I leave this world I could come to you for my hair. No champagne, no pedi, no manny. Just your expertise. Love watching you.
I so appreciate your videos and tips. I have learned so much, and it makes me understand what hairdressers are doing with my hair.
