I’ve photographed more weddings than headshots. At age 71 I plan to move into headshots/portraits and family sessions while backing away from weddings. I don’t have the excitement or desire for weddings anymore, but I still like the $$. If I get into portrait work I believe I can bring in enough $$ to please myself. I love playing with off camera strobe lighting, different softboxes, umbrellas, using different backdrops and experimenting with light ratios. 2025 will be a transition year for me. Hopefully headshot/portrait work will come my way.
The hair and makeup suggestions are perfect, last time I looked like I just woke up which probably wasnt the best first impression for my LinkedIn photo.
Thanks for the sub! I would look for a solid tripod (meant for a regular camera) and then find a good clamp for your phone. If want to shoot me an email, I can send you a snapshot of what I use.

#Scott knows his stuff. My AI portraits from kahma turned out almost as good as what he suggests here! Def worth a try.
I'd take the law firm, hands down, over the Bridezilla and her mother.
Me too!
Im binge watching your videos because on Friday I will have my first headshot 😰😬😥😰
