I'm a 76 year old white guy, and I've been listening to Motown for the past 50 years. Believe me, you are barely scratching the surface of the genre. Yes, I love those groups from my youth like Stylistics and The Manhattans! When we sang at parties and karaoke or in my musical groups I’d always sang tenor. And ended up learning and, eventually, became more comfortable singing tenor than any other parts. And, it was from just constantly listening to those amazing groups with great voices.
