Like most people of a certain age, I have a healthy suspicion of dealers (especially main dealers), but as a relatively local (N.Manchester) viewer I'd be quite reassured and relaxed buying from you, Matt. You need to make a profit, but you come across as honest and not likely to stitch you up just to shift the metal.

That moldy old Civic was a cautionary tale about low mileage being deceptive. I would prefer a high mileage but well maintained car any day. Far more likely that many parts will have already been replaced rather than just waiting to fail.
Matt, great video as always. Purchased a brand new Juke (delivery February 2024 - please don't laugh). Fast delivery, the wife is disabled and she was able to climb in with ease and fall out with grace. We average 1,850 miles each year! I'm keeping the MX5.

Really enjoyed binging on your vids recently. I bought a Mk2 TT in November and really got into your channel after rummaging through as many TT videos as I could. I think for me personally what would be the cherry on top is a close out of what happens to the cars eventually, how long to sell, final price etc.
I own one(2L TSFI 175K kms) nice car,love it,design and power delivers with no compromise ,better than Mk1 ,affordable to maintain,fortunately mine had a full service history i have nt done any major service’s outside filters and oil. Enjoy
@@sibukoyana3246 mine has an exemplary service history and records of preventative maintenance, fresh MOT so fingers crossed for trouble free motoring for a bit anyway. Mine has the annoying glove box hinge issue and the parcel shelf bracket but I bought new bits to fix these but just not got round to it yet.
@@legobatman8353thats awesome man. Glove box hinge has been reported as a common issue ,fortunately i have not experienced it. Drive that car,drive it hard bcos they are meant for hard driving and keep on maintaining it for its longevity. Enjoy your car,
Love the fact that you started with the F-type! I've just picked up a 2018 model P-340 V6 R-Dynamic manual in Caldera Red for under 30K and I love it! Your review early last year helped me decide it. It took me a year to make the jump from the Mk2 TT.

Well the good cars are all out my price range. ( not that haven’t got it but my mantra is £6k max). Never really had a dud either including French. In fact I am a fan of older french cars. Channel superb keep up the good work

I bought a car from this fella in April 23, Merc estate, it was great, nice clean car, only mistake I made was the service history had a big gap and one year it did a shed load of miles. This was an issue when I came to sell it as all the dealers thought it had been used as a taxi and ran a mile. I bought it for a holiday car, I’m from Oz and was spending five months in the UK, I think I paid around £13k, spent £1000 on new brakes all round after three months so it owed me a tad over £14k, I sold it for £9,800 so basically it cost me £4K for 5 months, not bad I could not of hired the same car for double that. I found these guys honest decent people. Probably paid a bit too much but I can’t complain.
The lemons are just as bingeworthy as the peaches, after all IMOS wouldn't be a thing without them! Hope you and your team have a Happy New Year, looking forward to the next video 🙌
I have a Citroen C4 Picasso just like the one featured, same colour too. Terrific family car, the secret……maintenance….like every car ever built, they all need some sort of care and attention….does 50mpg as well…..
Can't go wrong with a boring lnsignia. Pick um up for peanuts and as interesting as a fence panel. I like mine it has cruise control, parkings ensors and a CD player...

I worked in development of the Bentley Bentayga, and at first I thought they were a stupid car, but after driving them and using them to carry things I started to really like them. The W12, as with all W12 engined cars, never lacks power and just keeps accelerating, the V8 has slightly less power, but it's easily enough and it sounds better, but for my money, if I won the lottery, I'd get the diesel Bentayga as my daily, because they are a brilliant car. Loads of power, unbelievably quick and still get decent mileage. I think the design is nice and subtle so goes under the radar for costing more than a house. One down side is they only did a short run of them, so they're all a little older, and running older tech, nothing you couldn't get updated, but still.
I always look forward to the video's and the moment you say "I've massively overspent". There have been some wonderful motors, and I think anyone could buy from you with confidence.

With a total limit of expenditure with an alarm for the overspend in increments
Enter your daily/weekly vehicle out lay
When you hit your budget
You get a couple of warnings
Then you can proceed with caution
Truly we all like your comments
I have overspent
Keep it going

Well the good cars are all out my price range. ( not that haven’t got it but my mantra is £6k max). Never really had a dud either including French. In fact I am a fan of older french cars. Channel superb keep up the good work

I bought a car from this fella in April 23, Merc estate, it was great, nice clean car, only mistake I made was the service history had a big gap and one year it did a shed load of miles. This was an issue when I came to sell it as all the dealers thought it had been used as a taxi and ran a mile.
I bought it for a holiday car, I’m from Oz and was spending five months in the UK, I think I paid around £13k, spent £1000 on new brakes all round after three months so it owed me a tad over £14k, I sold it for £9,800 so basically it cost me £4K for 5 months, not bad I could not of hired the same car for double that.
I found these guys honest decent people. Probably paid a bit too much but I can’t complain.
The lemons are just as bingeworthy as the peaches, after all IMOS wouldn't be a thing without them! Hope you and your team have a Happy New Year, looking forward to the next video 🙌

I have a Citroen C4 Picasso just like the one featured, same colour too. Terrific family car, the secret……maintenance….like every car ever built, they all need some sort of care and attention….does 50mpg as well…..
Can't go wrong with a boring lnsignia. Pick um up for peanuts and as interesting as a fence panel. I like mine it has cruise control, parkings ensors and a CD player...

I worked in development of the Bentley Bentayga, and at first I thought they were a stupid car, but after driving them and using them to carry things I started to really like them. The W12, as with all W12 engined cars, never lacks power and just keeps accelerating, the V8 has slightly less power, but it's easily enough and it sounds better, but for my money, if I won the lottery, I'd get the diesel Bentayga as my daily, because they are a brilliant car. Loads of power, unbelievably quick and still get decent mileage. I think the design is nice and subtle so goes under the radar for costing more than a house. One down side is they only did a short run of them, so they're all a little older, and running older tech, nothing you couldn't get updated, but still.
That’s interesting. The first Bentayga I ever drove was a diesel and I loved it.
I always look forward to the video's and the moment you say "I've massively overspent". There have been some wonderful motors, and I think anyone could buy from you with confidence.
