I always forget about the convert to Bezier curves tool. I just cut some rounded pieces the other day and noticed they had flat spots on the edges. That’s what I forgot to do! These tips help me out so much! Thanks!
Great tutorial. I like,e that you showed using the "vector validator", but then you showed using "show open vectors". I often find that using the validation doesn't always show open vectors for some reason, maybe I am working off a wrong layer at the time, not sure, but showing that was great, I never thought about that before. Thank you! 😊 Andrew. By the way the clean up was awesome.
Nice video. Thank you. One thing I saw that was very helpful was when you moved that star from one endpoint of the shape to another endpoint of another shape. I thought it was only able to move by grabbing the center point
That was one of the best, most well explained vcarve pro videos I've seen on cleaning up vectors. Huge thank you. I'm getting better and better at this, but you cemented some concepts I was having trouble with. Subscribed and will be watching more of your stuff.
Question. When using the “flat bottom” option… is there a tool change “pause” automatically placed in the tool path calculation? If not how does that work when two different tools are needed in this or projects like it. Nicely done. Great info as always. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Yep, the Vector Validator tool will not detect open vectors - only zero-length spans, overlaps, & intersections.
I am glad you enjoyed the video!

It looked like the engraving toolpath was a bit wacky at the end. Is there a way you can clean that up to make it more efficient?
I am cutting some Eva boat decking, I want to climb cut and conventional cut the same path, some lines will no reverse direction, can you help
how does it turn red (overlapping vectors)
You need to use the 'Vector Validator Tool' (blue check mark icon in Edit Objects) to identify the overlapping vectors.
