I think skywings need a head canon or two
I have some headcanons! I love these btw!
Icewings- nictitating eyelids for blocking out the snow when in flight, serrated talons, piscivore teeth, some fluff on tailtips, elbows, and chest, dark or light eye whites.
Seawings- large spinal frills, frill on their tail sides, thick tail, piscivore teeth, night vision, their glow scales bleed whatever color they are and take a while to heal, some dragons pierce their own glowscales and sell the glowing fluid for money, seawings that live in the deep can have those anglerfish bobble things, nightvision, brighter glowing scales, sharper teeth , sharper talons, and leaner bodies. Ones higher up can have shark features, thicker bodies, average talons and teeth, chin bobbles, and average glowscales.
Rainwings- huge curly tails, rough paw pads, nictitating eyelids, big fangs, lil snake nose holes.
Nightwings- can have bat noses, night vision, seers have a star on their forehead, the ones who live in the rainforest have partially prehensile tails and The ones in the night kingdom are nocturnal, dark eye whites.
Skywings- feathered wings and tailtip, bird-like talons.
Mudwings- alligator features, large, tusks.
Sandwings- large floppy spine frills, tail barb ofc, scorpion-like tails, fluffy ears, dark eye whites.
Silkwings- fluffy, fluffy antennae, long horns, a lot of chest fluff, elbow fluff, tail fluff, they can have moth-like or more butterfly-like wings depending on genetics.
Hivewing- head horn thing grows with age, dark eye whites, buzzing sound when flying, some can be born with the mosquito mouth thing or extra legs.
Leafwings- color changes with season, as they get older their frills and wings can slightly brown, tail tip has different leaf shapes, sharp claws, big fangs.

I also have some headcanons! (Btw I love all of yours)
MudWings: They are a mix of ankylosaurid/crocodilian. They have tough ankylosaur-like armor that resists the harshest of substances, even RainWing venom (Blood egg-born can actually resist lava with this armor, not forever though). MudWings also have thick, crocodilian-like tails that have hardened ends they can swing at opponents (think ankylosaurus clubs, but not an actual club) and that allow them to swim faster. Their heads are crocodillian, and as they age more teeth can be seen poking out (like a crocodile). They have the smallest wings, and are the largest tribe. (Also your headcanons).
SeaWings: SeaWings are the most varied tribe. Heads can range from long and spinosaurus like, to shorter/turtle-like. Their tails can range from shark-like, to stingray-like, to eel-like. Their fins are semi-transparent, and aren’t really webbed like canon. They more resemble SandWing sails, but do not have any tears/rivets and have clearly seen “lines”. They are the shortest tribe, and their wings are manta-ray like. They are excellent gliders, but struggle the most in flying large distances. SeaWings have lion fish-like quills on their arms (sometimes their tails) that they can use to sting enemies. (Also your headcanons).
SilkWings: SilkWings are divided into two subspecies; ButterflyWings (not fluffy) and MothWings (fluffy). BeetleWings used to be fluffy, but when Clearsight and other NightWings came, the offspring between NightWing and BeetleWing became the ButterflyWings and HiveWings (Thus why ButterflyWings aren’t fluffy. Also, I imagine them to have black, and that they have more NightWing genes than HiveWings. But this has been forgotten and dragons think HiveWings have more NightWing blood).
LeafWings: All LeafWings have leafspeak. Strong leafspeak is quite common, too. But some LeafWings are born with “stingscales”, a genetic anomaly that makes a LeafWing’s scales akin to poison ivy or gympie gympie leaves. If another dragon touches a stingscales, their scales will become extremely irritated, resulting in harsh rashes and severe itching. (Also your headcanons).
Also, I LOVE your NightWing headcanons?! I love all of them, but the NightWing ones are *awesome* .
I also like to imagine that LeafWings change colors depending on the season, but as the seasons change and they get older, some will get some pretty little flower/leaf patterns on them!

EDIT: I love that leafwing headcannon, and for a headcannon of mine is that Ice’Wing hatchlings are just a ball of spikes and gradually lose them getting to adulthood

Ooh I love these. Here are some of mine:
SandWings: Large sails, the inside of the barbs are hollow and make a sound when they shake them, like a rattlesnake’s tail. They use it the same way rattlesnakes do as well, starting out with a warning before attacking.
SkyWings: If a SkyWing has firescales, their wings are shaped like actual flames, and even move around a little bit like an active fire.
RainWings: RainWings have feathered ears and slightly feathered wings. I also picture each RainWing as having a unique frill shape. Even if two RainWings are related, no two frills look exactly the same. I also picture RainWings frills as being much larger than they appear to be, like the Dilophosaurus in Jurassic Park, they can make their frills larger to appear more intimidating.
NightWings: If a NightWing is a seer, they have a star that floats in front of their forehead, and instead of having the teardrop pattern along their scales, they have a star-like pattern along their scales.
SilkWings: I draw them to be a little bit fluffy, especially around their underscales and wings, like how moths are fluffy.
I have headcanons for SeaWings, RainWings, and NightWings.
For SeaWings, I imagined them with the abilities to shoot ink and they have three hearts (So basically they are like octopuses)
For RainWings, they have this ability to lose their tails like lizards do and they grow back
And For NightWings, they have this new ability so that they can have a power based on their name (If they're lucky)
These are some really neat headcanons! Its always cool to see the many ways people may interpret the different tribes and their features, I would love to see a part 2 if you come up with any more!

I have a headcanon :D!
I like to think that small birds ride on the backs of mudwings similar to the relationship between magpies and bison! (The birds favoring the mudwings as they most likely dont mind as much compared to other tribes)
It could also go for napping rainwings (I think it'd be super cute if tropical birds and other animals perch and chill on napping rainwings since they go unmoving for so long, and are supre chill!)
Funfact:snakes do not unhinge their jaws, there's an extra bone and the two part of the lower jaw are connected by a tendon :D

I HC that sea'wings have aquatic features depending on the sea level theyre in! For example, the twilight zone has like shark features and stuff, and in the abyss they can have angler fish & other creatures' in that levels features!!!! Also the ones closer to the surface are more seen and like if they live in the trenches they are almost NEVER seen by other tribes due to the pressure and stuff

I love these so much, but I don’t agree with IceWings at all, I see them as more viscous ice creatures,lol. But great video and I like very the Leaf and Rain headcannons the most.

Neat, I personally see IceWings as being REALLY fluffy and not actually having scales, the "scales" they do have is actually just fur that is covered in their frost breath to make ice armor that they fashion to look like scales. So all of their spike are actually just part of a mane that has been styled to look like icicles.
