I got 17,000 plus miles on a 2020 street glide special. I’m coming for you on the miles. I need you to slow your roll so I can catch you tho. 😂😂😂 Good info on the service, didn’t know anything about that neck bearing. Keep the positive vibes coming. Blessings.
I think you are supposed to grease and adjust the steering head bearings at 25K. The $800 price sounds about right for the extra time involved. Adamec did not mention doing that at 25 or 30K. That’s why the price was cheaper.
This is good to know. Me and my family are moving to Jacksonville for two years after living in Italy for three years. This is the HD dealer ship where I'll be picking up my bike and hopefully make good friends with the staff there. Thanks for sharing brother. Ride safe and God bless.
Maaaaaaan look, I don’t care of I see a burger for $5 and 3 miles away it’s $2.50, I’m going to that deal! So, I feel you, hands down brother Wood! 👊🏾 L.D.
That's cool that the Jacksonville dealer has that overhang you can pull under. Taking my 2019 street glide special in tomorrow for her 50k service to my local dealer. When I made the apt. the guy taking my info said the 50k service is going to be pricey. Not a good sign. I need to do what you did and that's shop around (next time). I made this apt. about 3 weeks ago and I hate to cancel it. When I travel I pack a few plastic bags to keep my feet dry when it rains.
Wow bro, you’ve been riding. Definitely a long distance rider! I’ll be curious as to the price of your 50k service. Thanks bro! I thought I was close to catching up to your miles, NOT 😂😂
I agree with you wood Jr. I will shop for the best price around. My dealer wanted to charge me $1,200 for a oil change spark plugs and filter at 20,000 miles. I found a dealership in Tallahassee to do the job for $ 450 dollars. 2 hours from me but it is worth the ride. You have to save a dollar wherever you can. PS. The first time I got caught in the rain and my feet got wet you can laugh🤣 but it work my father took sanitary pads and put them in our shoes they absorbed the the water quickly.
😂😂😂😂😂😂 about your wet boot experience 😂😂that was funny bro! Also, great job in going the distance to save 💰 you actually saved $750. Well worth the ride. 👍🏽👍🏽
Man. I’m going to reserve comment with regards to what I think about Savanna HD and the quoted price. Wait….. I can’t hold back. What the Heck? Not Cool Savanna HD. Wood Jr. deserve the absolute best and for this Brother to have to go 2 hours away to get a better deal is not cool. What happened to price matching? Simply not cool. Brother Wood, you’re a good brother and I don’t blame you for going else ware to save a few hundred dollars. I would do the same, Continue to ride safe brother. Also, now the 2 hour trip isn’t nothing now that your the IBA Champ. As always, keep the vids coming and Blessings. 💪🏾👊🏾
You did good. But some of us don’t care about saving $400. But for others on a budget I understand. It’s a hobby riding a bike. Some of us are not mechanics. But ride safe and easy.
Damn glad you got there safe in that rain and man good for you not enough people will ride for a deal and shop around half price yep I’d take the ride too!
Thank you for the info my brother, but wanted to suggest Ariat work boots. They are very comfortable and make some great riding boots and they are water proof. Try them, you will be very pleased and won't have that problem with riding in the rain. Safe Riding my brother.
Great information brother! What’s the labor rate at Savannah HD? Is that the difference? I guess it has to be that. Either way, the difference is nothing to sneeze at. 👍🏾
Good for you..saving $400 + dollars is just being smart. Its just a shame you had to drive so far. They look like a great crew there. Stay safe out there my brother ! ..... blessings 🙏
I’ve been doing my own servicing on my bike. Great videos on UA-cam to show each step of the service process. I would love to pound like you do Wood, but work keeps me off the bike more than on. I will take it in for 10K, 20K, 30K, etc. However, if I notice anything off before I get to the next 10K, I will take it in sooner. I’m definitely doing cost comparisons when I do take it in. It seems that Adamec has a larger and more knowledgeable service department which helps with pricing and labor costs since they know what they’re doing.
Man, I do not like to have wet feet. Although your boots are waterproof, once you pants get soaked the water will seep into your socks and down into your boots. Rain gear or a good set of gators will help. That's a huge difference in price. The parts prices should be comparable, so the difference must be the labor rate in their service departments.
So true bro! The crazy part is, my rain gear was in my saddlebag but I didn’t want to pull over 😂 There may be a price difference in labor, clearly one is way affordable than the other 😂
Great video bro. I’m the same way your boy be looking for the best prices. I pass up Black Gold Harley sometimes and go to Maverick Harley Davidson. Because of the service price. I’m with you on that definitely. Have a blessed one
Great vid Wood Jr. It's crazy how expensive the service increments are, thankfully I do my own. The neck bearings were included in that price, right? How long did total service take?
I think wood jr jus wanted to take that long ride…. He’s rich what’s 850????😂😂😂 I’m over 5000 now… I might even save that 450 and do it myself…. We’ll see… nice video again bro.. happy Father’s Day to all the fathers in wood nation…

Dry socks, plastic grocery bag over socks, put boots on. Remember if your pants are wet or your socks are wet they will act as a wick and soak up water.
Bruh, I just went to my dealer to get my 25k service. They told me that it was going to be around 800 dollars. They said they need to replace the neck bearing and it take 6 hours including the regular service. I know that is something that I will have to get done but I didn't have 6 hours to wait on my bike. So I just got the regular service and my brake system flushed and rode out. My bike is not under warranty so I'm going to ask around to see if there is any dealer or shop that they know that can do the neck bearing service for a lot lower cost. Since I paid for the regular 25k service I have to get it done at 30k. I wish I was close to Jacksonville but I live in the ATL.
Question for the wood nation. Can you get a stage 1 &2 before leaving the dealership or do you need to break in your motor first? Thank to all be safe and God bless.
