I'm noticing a knocking sound when my treadmill starts to incline/decline. Also I notice my belt constantly shifts to the left even after adjusting. Thanks for the video
Check the hinge points on the bar the incline motor is attached to.... where it bolts into the frame for tightness. The shifting belt suggests possible frame damage at a weld, or issues with one of the rollers.
Hello! Can you help me fix mine or give me guidelines on how to fix it? Our treadmill has inconsistent speed. Its really fast when you press the start button and then slows down immediately and then its stuck on repeat.
@@arnervillahermosa6366 I wish I was that savvy! There are guys online who can repair them. If it's an icon machine, controllers aren't too crazy expensive. Not sure what you meant about stuck on repeat though..... if a motor had dead spots that would also run erratically..... sort of like constant speed bursts. You can test the motor with a drill battery to rule that out.
@@gitfit875 seems like the controller has a defect. It is speed burst. It constantly rev up the motor then returns to the proper speed then speeds up again
Hands down the best video to follow! Thank you sir!
My pro form say not to lube belt??? it ie pre lubed and says never use silicone or it may damage belt?? what should I do ?
I contacted proform regarding this topic. The Ai said to use the Treadmill Maintenance Kit TMAK213. Don't know why the manual says that but it's b.s
Run

@@gitfit875 thank you I appreciate it
Nice video - thank you
That section at the end where you are running on it and doing adjustments, is that to see if it is getting pushed off center?
Yes, trying to kick it out of alignment
Any video for the Pro-form shox?
As far as maintenance, it should be almost exactly the same

Sounds like the controller (speed burst)
@@gitfit875 do you have information on how to fix this? Or do I have to buy a new controller?

Haha, it's not rocket science
I have a proform performance 600c. Will the nordicTrack maintainance plan cover my treadmill too?
I would think so, might be worth a phone call to them to verify...800 677 3838
