Judging by your attention to detail, this will really bother you later on! The front door- removing the door handle is it worth the hassle? You want the carpenter to take the door apart and replace that panel?

Without the handle, how do you intend to open when closed? Using the key? That's going to reduce the lifespan of the locking system. The pull bar alone doesn't look sufficient. Maybe there's another hardware alternative
Right! If is a good lock shouldn’t be any issue. I showed how to open with the key and the pull bar handle purpose is exactly for that; adding the normal handle is an overkill.

I have had that experience with my turkey door (solid hardware). With that said, I can see why you would want that minimalist look, this lock is just not designed for that key-only operation.

You can buy palm trees in so many places in Accra. Every neighborhood has a plant nursery. Where are you. Find your local places.
