Great video. Looked like a good drive and fun day with friends. I love the area around Kamloops. I went camping in Wells Grey Provincial Park many years ago and fell in love with the area.
9:24 If you take the right at the fork to Duffy Lake that road (Greenstone Rim Trail) takes you back down to Savona, it is pretty easy in the summer but will have snowy sections in the spring. I have done it a couple times around Easter I have videos on my channel with my '08 FJ Cruiser and my '03 Grand Cherokee WJ.
Another sweet video! I went over the White Lake trail (20 min past Salmon Arm heading west) this summer, with my mostly stock ‘91 F150. It dumps you into Eagle Bay which has another trail you could go down heading along Shuswap Lake toward the narrows. You might like to try that one day. White lake is a nice place to fish and camp as well.
I went up on the 27th, they had just laid down a fresh coating on Calcium Chloride brine on the first few km, what a mess that stuff was to wash off the body and frame of my truck! Great view was worth it though.
Oh gross, they just did our road too so we would have to hose off the dog after walks even if we tried keeping him out of it. He was not too happy about it.
Hey the wife was telling me about this place last weekend when we were in Kamloops, she seen a post on FB about it must have been the same post haha, looks nice
Ya I have a soft spot for lookouts, this one isn't on the top of any lists but it's definitely worth checking out! The road is very good until a short section to the end. Any vehicle could drive up there.
@@OkanaganOverland ya the wife is a big fan of lookouts. I like somewhat technical road for a slightly modded Jeep. After all half the fun is the adventure to the lookout :D
Added to my list of nearby trails to explore. Were so lucky to have all these trails and mountain tops. Great video as always.
Thanks! Ya it definitely is worth going up at least once

Great day to get out and explore
Definitely!
I enjoy your videos! We saw you at Hidden lake on Sunday I was the orange Tj that waved at you. Keep up the good work.
Oh thank you! Nice Jeep, I didn't recognize it out there but definitely see your name around on the Jeep groups!

@@christianflss3780 I'm in the same boat. A bit of a technical drive makes it a little more fun.
Nice!
I just watched this video. Would you say a sedan with all wheel drive could get up most of the way (until you got to that really dirt part)?
Yes absolutely, the drive was really mild right until the last few hundred meters.
@@OkanaganOverland Thank you so much for the quick reply! I'll be taking my partner there very soon then.
Cheers.
I too like trains
I see someone watched until the end.
