This era of makeup is when I first got into makeup! I was 19 (late bloomer) and I enjoyed it so much. My style has changed immensely but I would definitely buy some of these things again
the clinique cheek pops are my ride or dies! i don’t wear base makeup but these sink into my skin amazingly regardless and don’t just sit on top like a powder. colours are also fantastic and it blends so so nice with amazing staying power even without setting!!

I have one eye pop and Clinique doesn’t seem to be making them anymore. I have one cheek pop that I love.
The too faced chocolate soleil bronzer (the original) still has the best tone for me!

Love this video. I will always be a MAC lipstick girl (with drugstore favs thrown in) as well as their eyeshadow in Sketch, which I feel is a staple for any brown-eyed makeup wearer. Also love that Essence highlighter. For mascara, nothing beats my Maybelline Lash Sensational. I've used that for years and always go back to it after trying high end ones.

I loved this video Jamie. I still use the lumi glotion, benefit roller lash and 24 hour brow setter, they never fail me. New releases and trends are great but tried and true makeup that never lets you down is worth revisiting and definitely good news to our wallets 😆💵

So excited to watch it, love me some old but good makeup products 🤍One for me would definitely be the Maybelline lash sensational mascara, there is no other that separates and lifts my lashes as that one! Forever obsessed
I always always love the Mac lipglass. I bought Spice a few months ago and it's my fave. It goes with everything anytime of year. I love the stickiness and taste. All the new glosses are so thin and wear off after 20 minutes. Their blushes are better than any of the new high end blushes. The pigment and blendability is insane.
Omg! MAC cream colour base in hush was my holy grail fo so long! Another product I always go back to is L'Oreal Voluminous mascara. I try others but there is always a tube of this in my collection. And I agree with you 100% about the Clinique cheek pop blushes they are so beautiful and underrated.
Mac lipglass in clear always lives in my bag. Never fell out of love with the sticky formula. 😊

Oh! My favorite powder is Hourglass Veil because it doesn’t look like a powder on my dry skin. Truly holy grail! And MAC products are still my favs as well: Face & Body, Glow Play Blush, Extradimension Blush, lipsticks, Fix+, Lip primer - everything is good😍
Ok I just added a cheek pop to my Ulta cart in Nude Pop, such a beautiful color! As for the NYX glosses, I have so many and still love them all..They’re the real OG and never let me down! Praline is one of my all time favs, and I love that lipliner you paired with it, definitely picking that up as well! Great video, would love to see more like this😊

I love This! It’s so good to remember all the great makeup that already exists. One of my favorites is the wet n wild megaglo hello halo liquid highlighter. You get 15ml and and it’s such a gorgeous product that mixes well with liquid blush and adds such a nice glow

i literally use the essence highlighter ALL. THE. TIME. i actually prefer it when i travel cause I know it's simple, easy and these days with travelling, is much easier to throw in my bag instead of adding it into my already overstuffed carry on quart bag 🤣🤣

I discovered Mac Lipglass in like 2001 when I first got into makeup, and I felt so fancy! Nymphette was my favorite :)
Thanks Jamie for that video :) I rediscovered mac 2 years ago and loove all their stuff. I'd love to see a Mac ranked video of yours! And about the essence highlighter: I lived in Frankfurt, Germany for 10 years (that's where Essence originally comes from) and I had to travel to New York to finally be able to buy that highlighter because you cant buy it in Germany. But I really love it!
Products that are Very old but I still use it on a daily basis are e.g. Mac's omega eyeshadow as my brow powder, or velvet teddy as my everyday lipstick.
A straight MAC throwbacks bicep would also be 🔥
I love NYX Butter Gloss especially in the shade Sorbet applied lightly.
The nyx butter gloss is for sure my number 1 most reached for lip product in my make up collection. Seriously my other lip products feel neglected but I've just loved it for years and still always grab this oldie but goodie. My go to colour is butterscotch. Super pretty cool toned brown nude. Chef's kiss. Even though they don't last all day, it's just so comfortable and I don't need a mirror to reapply wich means it's also the perfect, keeping in you purse, lippy.❤

That essence highlighter is the only powder highlighter I own, never looks powdery and lasts all day. I'll never stop buying the covergirl lash blast volume mascara in black brown 😭 it is my everyday mascara, never clumply, always wispy lashes

I still use lots of Mac and Mufe products, their quality is always pro. I don't really like new hyped stuff. For me the best mascara is essence I love Extreme, I always come back to that one.
Im still a Buxom lip cream/polish lover. Also have the essence pure nude highlight
I love my Maybelline sky high CoverGirl exobitionist and milani antigravity over any high end mascara and the essence baked blushes last all day on me they are better than so many high end blushes I've tried.. love urban decay liners they just work.. I wrk in a wearhouse and summer is hot and humid in the building and they don't budge or smudge at all on me
MAC fix plus is an oldie but a goodie….that I always have on hand.

I was late to trying the essence pure nude highlighter (tried it like 2 years ago) but it’s amazing . Such a pretty soft focus glow ✨🫶🏼 Edit - also the nyx butter gloss in praline is one of my top fave glosses😍

The Loreal lumi! I still mix it with my tinted moisturizer every day. I've been having a mac kick lately as well, especially the paint pots. Though I feel like they used to be stickier and no longer as long lasting as they usesd to be?

The only powder eyeshadow I own are Mac single eyeshadows, I love making my own custom pallet with shadows I KNOW I love and if I run out I can just replace that one shadow instead getting a whole new pallet if I go through a favorite shadow In it.
I STILL buy NYX butter glosses. The best. Same with their soft matte lip creams!
The Essence highlighter is one I always wanted to try but I was worried it would be just slightly too dark on my fair skin so I never did

Excellent video. It inspired me to look at what I already have in my makeup collection.
As you were going through the products, I was thinking 🤔, “Hmm, I have that one…yes, and that one…oh, and that one somewhere in my makeup desk….”
One mascara I really like is the Lancôme Monsieur Big mascara. I’ll have to try Rollerlash sometime, too. I find some of the same pluses with this Lancôme mascara as noted in the Benefit mascara. What I really like about the Lancôme mascara is that it does not irritate my eyes at all, including if I fall asleep with it on.
I have two basic questions:
1. (Speaking of MAC) With setting spray, I can’t seem to get the hang of it. I have the MAC Fix+. Would it be better to spray it on my fingers and pat it in? Use first?
2. I can never seem to get the hang of eyeliner like the liner you are wearing in this video. I’d love to be able to accomplish just a slight wing. I’m 63. Should I even bother at this point (😂), meaning does eyeliner still look good on someone my age? I don’t have very many wrinkles.

Hush cream color base was my favorite thanks to Pixiwoo and I just went looking for it and can't find it! Are they discontinuing cream color base?? I only see one shade on the website 😢

I am still so sad that l'oreal doesn't have glotion for sale in Finland 😭 I have been contemplating buying it through Amazon but then taxes and 20 euros shipping so ends up being same as any higher end highlighter. No. So I'll just sit here in my freezing puddle of tears.
