Supernova 2 with its characteristic sound, can take out the brain after being modified (with new and better DAC) with a very powerful sound with the character of the English. Can generate very interesting effects with a lot of modulation despite its simplified oscillator section. It can drum so hard and powerfully that the neighbors complain with a request "please turn off the powerful turbine, which prevents us from living peacefully behind the wall!" On board are whales of drummers a la TR808 and TR909, a bunch of arpeggiators, not bad effects, an ADSR with a loop function, convenient controls, beautiful design, you can use it in music like many other old synthesizers, as they were made wisely. SN2 has very interesting pads, basses and a filter like TB303. The sound of Supernova 2 is a bit cold and may not be to everyone's liking. But this synthesizer, like all past classics, is worth paying attention to. I chose 4 favorites of the past years for my setup and have not bought absolutely anything new for exactly 10 years.
Can that bird more than chirpy sounds?
