This is the best "HOW TO" on constructing a caterpillar low tunnel video I have found on YT.

I've reviewed over 30 videos on building tunnels and this 3 part series was the most helpful video ever! Thanks so much.

Where can I get those fence rods? 😊

These are fiberglass fence rods found in any farm store. If they deal with livestock, they should have these rods. Thanks for watching. Hope you found them.

How do you punch holes in the drip tape?

When you covered the bed before this video started, and pulled it off, was it weed barrier cloth? You call it a tarp. I am guessing it is the landscape fabric, heavy duty...can you elaborate? Thank you for all your videos by the way. Very helpful!

Hi Melody; Your correct! The fabric is poly weave landscape fabric. we buy it in 6' by 300' rolls. Our bed widths in these areas is 4' and wecut the fabric into standard lengths of 100'

We have used both woven poly landscape fabric as well as 4-5 mil silage tarp or plastic sheeting. During our rainy season we tend to use the landscape fabric more as it allows moisture to pas through. during the dry season we switch to silage tarp or plastic as it retains soil moisture better.

Thanks, very helpful. Could you please suggest a source and specifics on the fiberglass fence posts you prefer.

Hi Darrell. we use 3/8" 4 foot rods. These can be found at most any farm supply store. In the U.S. the retail for around 1.50 ea. Many times you can get a discount if you buy in a pack of 20. one other source is Premier 1 Fencing . Try this link: www.premier1supplies.com/p/smoothcote-fiberrod-posts-3-8-in-dia?criteria=fence+rods

Thank you very much for this response and link. I bent up 10 hoops this last weekend and hope to get another 40 or so done before spring. Love your videos. Thanks!
