Probably back to my childhood to have a chance to enjoy this time once again... especially with people i don‘t have a chance to communicate with anymore:(
I think the question should be “To any when” because Time travel and Teleportation are two separate concepts. Teleportation = Same time, Different place. Time travel = Same Place, Different time and possibly Different Timeline
What if we went back in time to kill our grandfather, but at the moment that we kill our grandfather, we created an alternate timeline/universe than the one before?
Im with the belief in the whatever you do to change or better your past, you will always end up with the same results, minor differences only having been altered.
I dont think it will change anything. Have a look at the gradfather paradox... You simply cant change the past. If you did so, you would break the laws of physics. Probably if you try per example to kill somebody in the past, the laws of physics and nature would do anything to stop that and the person would be kind of immortal meanwhile you visit their timeline. The great reality is that, according to Einstein the arrow of time only moves forwards and not backwards, so you could only travel to the future (by standing near supermassive objects with a gigantic gravity or by travelling very fast).
@@Daniel-vg8fk that argument assumes that 1. Our current understanding of physics encompasses all knowledge in regards to how time works. And 2. That our current understanding of physics is even entirely accurate. We know for certain that we know very little about how time actually works. We know it moves forward through our perspective, and we have observed how time dilation affects objects near huge sources of gravity, but not much more. Until we understand much more about how time operates, what drives it, and where it comes from, we can only guess as to whether time travel is possible in either direction. And just because a concept is illogical or paradoxical, doesn’t mean it still can’t happen. A statement or event can still be factually correct, but not make any sense logically. That means that our ability to rationalize an idea has no real bearing on its literal possibility. There is also the possibility that our understanding of physics is not only incomplete, but in accurate in a more grand sense. For example, we may say that, gravity is caused by objects bending space time. To our current understanding, that is correct. But that doesn’t mean that gravity DOESNT also have attributes, or causes, etc, that we can’t even detect, much less explain at the moment. This all comes together for me to say this: we don’t know if time travel is possible, and to make an absolute statement on it’s possibility is illogical and most likely incorrect
Still didn't reinvent the wheel plus no one knows any of that shit , I call that wonderland science , something I never heard before and that is called Original
One of the citations from The Law of One states that you cannot meet your past or future self/s during time travel. Time travel involves "travel" to parallel realities/universes, as opposed to tranversing on this time line. Thus, if you were to "travel" to a parallel reality where another you exists, you would cause a form of inter-dimensionsal displacement whereby your parallel you would shift out from his/her series of time line nodes, and into another series of time line nodes.
There is a theory that the timeline bifurcates all the time with endless possibilities. Time travel itself would necessarily create a new timeline in which your death happens, even at your own hand.
Great video. I’ve always appreciated time travel videos on this channel. Something to consider, time travel is supposed to be told to us by 2028. We are so close to finding this out and it will be interesting to see everyone’s reaction to it once we do. Something to consider, how will they regulate time travel once we do find out we have it? Will they reserve it for only the rich, only take specific volunteers, time travel tourism? So many things to consider.
If past, present, and future always exist, then infinite amounts of pasts, presents, and futures always exist. And if they can interact with each other, then those individual interactions between timelines would create even more timelines. Time, like space, is always expanding, colliding, and changing. But that would mean that every version of you that appears, will always appear, will always exist. And if we aren't our bodies, and are the consciousness driving the bodies, then every version of you is you. Your consciousness lives through every possible outcome of the body you inhabit, to learn the most from the experience of being you. Think of your brain as a multidimensional quantum receiver that picks up consciousness. Atoms are just energy vibrating at different frequencies to give the illusion of solidity. All has consciousness to it. Your brain is receiving that consciousness, and processing it in a pattern, that is you. Once dead, brain shutting down, it releases the stored consciousness, that has built up, you, and you rejoin the mass consciousness. And when a new brain is born, that can process your pattern, you live again.
The grandfather paradox isn't necessarily true. Ur in different timeline. It's not a linear travel through time. It's just another story if you will in another time line.
I see a problem with the idea of dying during time travel. I don't see a time lapse during time travel so you would either die now or then not somewhere in between.
you all go on about killing someone in the past what about saving someone like myself from certain death when i was a kid 2yo a stranger saved my life from a car running me down what if i go back in time and watch to see who the stranger is but he dosen't turn up so i have to save myself so if i didn't travel back would i just vanish off the earth or am i stuck in a permanent time loop
The grandfather paradox happens in your future/present and in turn cannot affect incidents leading up to the moment you time travel and therefore is not a paradox, to time travel is to suggest all that will be and has been is an open book to flick through and stop at any page however the story remains the same
I like to think that if you time travle you would go to other dimensions as well. So we could invade and colonize thr past, travleto our own future. Theb go back again, colonize it. Then now you would have 3 reality to jump between. So then u go invade a 4th last. So on have a covilization acrost 4 multiple realities not connected exept by your device. At least this is what I hope
Depends o the type of time travel. A machine that makes you go through time. Or a space craft that goes into the future let's say a month and it is told to you its dangerous to bring you back to your time. But the alien race manages to bring you back an hour or 2 after you left. Any closer and you get the point. I knew about this happening to a good friend he saw the news that he was missing and he wanted to be back home. Or people would have missed him, like work. Things like that but to be back and not miss much I think is pretty good. Since he was on board that craft at least he didn't die or cause a paradox.
I think if we time travel and die, nothing would really happen, I mean, the last thing to happen in your normal timeline is you leaving to a different timeline, after you had left it, you never came back.
Not sure if time travel backwards is possible but something similar to forward is with space travel... Different Timelines are technically something different than time travel
Why do people think we could go forward in time?? Time or events don't exist in the future unless we act upon them in the close present, its just a blank slate. Only the past could theoretically be visited.
If time travel really exists, how is it that no one has come to visit us yet and I don't think that in the future there will be a rule that you cannot travel in time, remember that there is always someone who breaks the rules, there are murderers and people. that they do not care about life, they surely could travel in illegal time but they have not done it for a simple reason and that is that time travel does not exist or will never exist and this gives me one more theory, if we are in 2020 and We have not created it yet, it means that the end of time is approaching and quickly in 2020 we were on the brink but remember that some day far or near the world will come to an end in short, if time travel has not existed, it is because the earth will not last so that the end is believed to be very near
Please excuse my ignorant mad theory and sorry if I don't explain it very well, listening to all of the paradoxes, does it not seem like time travel is like superposition?tie in the multiverse theory here for a minute, So you you exist in the here, now, past and future, all because of other people's perception of you due to knowing you oreeting you,and even if you die or kill yourself, say the grandfather paradoxe isn't true for the purpose of this mad idea, dont you still exist in the.memories of those who knew you? Meaning you could never ever not exist,or is that a really obvious paradox and theory ? It just seems so similar to superposition

I respectfully disagree time travel demolishes free will because we have a choice to accept the reality of the future event or prevent it. For example, if I see my future self going to prison because I committed a crime, then I can avoid it from happening because it is a dreadful thing against civil society.
