My Grizzly 700 did the exact same thing in a water hole in my second last video on my channel. I had thought that it sucked up steam from the hot engine but i think the plug wire got wet.
I die-electric greased the inside of the plug boot and put it back on after that run. The last mud hole i went through in the last video i did, i didn't have a problem.
It's a bit of a relief that it wasn't just my bike that did that. It's a repeatable scenario which tells me its a design flaw with the machine.

VMUTS trails are probably my favorites to ride in Ontario!

@@DonsATVAdventures Yes I'll agree that part is a bit annoying. But the trails themselves I enjoy alot. Great videos thanks for sharing them.

The Mattawa weekend was an excellent weekend away with great friends! Look forward to doing that again - even Tammy is up for trying Trail 666! 😊

Hey Don, It was good meeting ya yesterday out in front of the Lingham Lake trail entrance. I hope I didn't underestimate the water levels for ya and you had a good ride in? Hope to see ya out on the trails agian soon before the season ends. We'll be riding in Quebec a few times this winter as that's the place to go since most of Ont. is sledding only. Not sure if you've tried thier trails but supposedly they are emaculately taken care of and amazing in the winter. Take care. Cheers!

Yes thanks for saying hi ! It was all good going into the lake , nothing we couldn't handle at all. Iv never been to Quebec in the winter either . Haliburton forest allows atvs on the groomed trails there in the winter but its $50 per day for pass .

@@DonsATVAdventures Meant to ask you regarding your third party axle issues, have you tried Yamaha's OEM axle or did you have availibility issues with them? Just curious... Regarding the riding in Que., the OFATV has a deal/partnership with QuebeQuad where if you buy a seasonal OFATV trail pass, you can get an inter-provincial trail pass for Quebec for a $100. Really good deal since a Que. pass alone is $360. I'm in the Ottawa area so I'm pretty close and will make use of it this winter season. Cheers!

@@viperxbr ya i know about the $100 top up for Quebec, i bought 2 of them for our Grizzly's a couple years when that agreement first started and never ended up going unfortunately . As for the axles the Yamaha stock axles for the Rmax have been on backorder since the beginning of August and the date keeps getting pushed back for availability and now they have changed the part number which means they have changed the axle so hopefully when they are available they have improved them. Thing is not all Rmax's are having a issue with them .

Can you recommend a good 2 up ATV?
I did the Mattawa trails with by 2021 Tacoma, even the black trail...forget the name.
Since me and family moved to Muskoka area I very interested in getting an ATV. Need to take passenger.
    Thanks.

This lookout is in my backyard. My house is Two kilometres south east of there in the valley!
