Hi Marco... Just like to see some explanation on how to create the groove bass section (like the one you used in the example above). I understand that it is your particular approach and signature style but cannot find a clear explanation on how to create such a groove specially in full on (145bpm) rolling basslines with a couple of variations and examples, if possible... appreciate your attention... cheers mate!

Scaler 2 i use now as a pro. Took a while to get used on it and grt used on the functionality, but for what I need it for is prety simple. That’s what I will be talking in the video.
What is scaler useful for and Cubase has chord track or something, what makes you use scaler2 ? I thank you! @@EClipChannel
@@partlysimpson5154 scaler is way more complex, it’s super complex and it has insane functions.
Yeah, Rapid, Ana 2, Serum, etc. all very good synths.

Hi, yes I have dune3 license, I like the filter, and send, it is bit soft tho, wee are used to very digital snappy serum sound.

Imo @synapse Dune 3 is THE best sounding soft synth on the market. Its a very organic sound compared to standard vsti's.
Sadly Synapse stopped producing a great loop based daw called OrionPro, which had THE best tb303 & 909 & nord lead (junglist & scorpion) clones on the market. I just wish they'd release Orion pro synths as vsti's...
Dunes got some solid presents but it's when u get into the depths if it's it's dual filter configuration & little tweaks which make it shine.
Honestly , it's the closest thing to hw you're gna find on the market... & I've sussed them ALL out for weeks on end... but it IS a little overpriced.
The inability to pirate this is what i think kept ppl away from it...
The filters are phenomenal. Like, MINDBLOWINGLY good...
FX engine is a monster with crunchy everything...
Really amazing synth imo...(& that's coming from a hw & sw geek who's tried pretty much everything)

@@domikeny2 kick designed in Kick2, snares - many different sample packs + some of custom made laters, - hi-hats - many dofferent sample packs + 909 Hihat samples
I love Dune 3, good presets too that show off its capabiltiies. It really has a rich, thick sound. But, it does go out of time sometimes (maybe I need to update it) and also sometimes it plays silence and I need to reload the patch - so ALWAYS save your patch if you tweak a preset so you can reload it - name the track the name of the preset so you can find it again quickly.
Have to say, the GUI also looks a lot like a Virus TI.
Did you get those issues sorted out of interest?
@@EarlyMist No it's still really finicky when it comes to timing, starting correctly on the beat and dropouts. It's great sounding but I think it causes massive CPU usage spikes. I'm running a 5950x and it eats audio processing for breakfast.. but Dune still causes drops and mistimed starts, even in blank projects. I put up with it though as it's a great synth.

I use Keys Step Pro to control and sequence some digital synthesizers installed in Ableton, including Dune 3, Arturia Pigment, etc.. I create music which is composed of several Synthesizer Presets. When I'm playing the song live, and I need to change from one Preset to another, I go into the Sound Bank of the respective Synthesizer and select the Preset to change. I ask: Is there a way in Ableton itself, or a Plugin, that I can select the Presets of each Synthesizer and from this selection/mapping I can activate the preset that I will use? As if it were a screen that showed the Tracks for each Synthesizer, with their respective pre-selected presets. Is there a more practical and agile way to do this?
Dune 3 is not a so much new toy, but is a great synth,as well as Dune 2 !

Dune 3 along with Diva sound sooo soft and have awesome filters that sound very "analog"
Also Scaler might be nice but look into Toneworks catalyst, that is a beast :D

@@siliconix yup, two banks I used previously in the video were Bellatrix Audio, will need to check the other one’s name. I’m on the way to Voov and Boom festival so it will take a while

Once you have a few presents of your own then you can use them as the basis for genetics. You can then create lots more presents much faster.
