Had my trailblaza in the elements now for 11years never missed a beat. Just bought an evakool downunder 2 for a second vehicle, will be covered under a roller shutter so hopefully be ok bought it from you guys ❤
My Engel has been on the cruiser tray exposed in sideways rain , snow and horrendous sh*t for 10yrs in the snowy and wrks like the day i bought it..bit faded is all..45lt.. I'm certain Engel is the only one that will handle.. Anderson plugs..👌👌 More dust than a desert has gone in then blown out again!🤣 I'd only do this with the old model though..less is more..
IP rating is the standard indicator as to how waterproof an electrical device is. Generally “an outdoor fridge requires 304-grade stainless steel to be considered weatherproof.” Waterproof and weatherproof as well as water resistant or splash resistant are different standards
Ive got a cheap ass Rovin brand 35l fridge purchased on a run out sale from RTM for $109, it lives permanently on my tray back in rain hail and shine the thing just keeps chugging along and for the price i paid i couldn't care less if it failed or went missing.

Every time I hear the guitar intro to the SNOWY’s CAMPING SHOW, I drop what I’m doing so I can play a very aggressive air guitar! 😅
We don't hear it anymore like we used to in the old studio.
Barely remember what it sounds like!
It’s the Stubby Cooler of Holding.
This is awesome because I always see Landcruisers with fridges mounted on their trays, exposed to the weather
Yep, super common!

@ do you plan to open a Snowys Outdoors in Melbourne?
Lots of competition here but the market is also big
When you are buying ask what the IP rating is
Absolutely

Thats actually so good! I dont know if they make them anymore, so I reckon you've done well.

ARB Elements fridge claims to be waterproof.
I have heard that before - would be great to know if that's backed up with aftersales support aswell.
Would be a great option if it is

Just common sense advice from you guys.
That's what we strive for. ~ Ben
