- Monster House legitimately scarred me for life as a child. A "kids" movie so intense my parents had to smash the DVD in front of me to get the nightmares to stop. And now all these years later I have returned to face my fears and give this movie a proper review. And you know what, it's actually pretty good. No score needed on this one, it's personal.
This movie is a childhood banger
This traumatized me as a kid I went to go see it with my brother, and of course, my parents when I was like seven the part where the house started coming alive with the door and the tongue and the eyes I started crying and freaking out my mom had to escort me out of the fucking theater😭💀💀💀

I didn't remember the gist of the movie but remembered I liked it alot and that it was a kiddy kinda scary movie.
I and my newly 3-year-old daughter watch a movie every Friday night. It's always something age-appropriate. Like this movie. PG. What could go wrong?
I then started this movie. In the opening scene with the characters, someone dies... (Okay... it can't get worse than this haha). Then after other questionable things, someone gets grabbed by the house's carpet mouth.
I quickly just backed out and said we were watching something else. I then looked over to my daughter who was unbeknownst to me, crying and backing into the corner terrified...
Wtf. I'm a bad parent lol

That lady was in a cage coz there was a time when extremely Fat people or anyone with extreme abnormalities were put on display. In circus's they were treated like an object/animals. PS. Really enjoyed your video 💝 hitting the subscrib button now.
