- In what may be the craziest Hollow Knight randomizer I've done, I decided to combine the transcendence mod, which adds a bunch of new charms to the game, along with skill upgrades and lever randomizer. Enjoy the resulting chaos!

47:28 elderbug is only visible for 15 frames, meaning that he would not be able to understand what just happened, and mistake you for a ghost

but, at the same time, you can go frame by frame and notice that he looks directly at the incoming sound barrier destroying bug, thus proving elder bug is actually god

You know, the complete lack of ego, the quality of the editing and your presentation style make these videos infinitely watchable, more so than any other speedrunner on youtube. No swearing, no shouting, nothing too loud... it's a chilled out way to spend an evening and I appreciate that, so thank you very much Skurry!

But there's swearing constantly, then there's once or twice in an hour long video. It's refreshing to not hear a speedrunner telling a boss to get fucked twenty times after being killed.

another one I would recommend would be punchy. He's fairly mellow, does passive aggressive jokes very well and speedruns silent hill games. if you want some good vids that he's in look up punchy gdq and look for silent hill 2 and 3. Hope you have a nice day.
Skurry is the counterpart to rusty 😅 I like both a lot. But the chill from Skurry and the fun is great
47:28 Elderbug is visible for 15 frames. However on the 7th frame, you can see him tilt his head down to look at ghost. Mission failed.

Lemms strength is so broken, with all the relics in a rando, unbreakable strength and pure nail you can get 90+ nail damage and florist blessing even triples that
Yep, I was like "nooo dont sell all those relics" haha.
I really appreciate that the creators of the skin used for this video took the time to change all appearances of the knight to match the skin. I've noticed that most of the other skins don't, but it really makes it feel much more authentic and seamless when you put in the extra time to make that change.
And it was really going above and beyond to redo Bretta's plushy and fanart. For me that took it from "nice, they're being thorough" to "dayum"

edit: okay, now that i’ve watched more, i really have to say the mod creator had some really good ideas. a lot of them were ideas i’d had for an alternative player character (glide, wall stick) but the charms looked so fun (geo-proportional spells specifically!)

I feel like a good nerf for the Shaman Amp would be to have it's usefulness decrease slightly for each Dreamer collected. I dunno, tho

I wish that the anti-gravity amulet was called the anti-mysterious-force amulet because in the 57 precepts of Zote he refers to gravity as "the mysterious force"
And you get it from beating Zote 10.

Sadly Skurry going through it frame by frame Elder bug transcends the laws of mortals and does indeed take notice of you dashing past, Perhaps the only way to truly stay out of his notice would be a charm, or cloak, of invisibility. Or to ascend.
Elder bug notices everything. There is no avoiding his glare.

Fun fact: When playing Transcendence Mod (the one with the new charms) without randomizer, there are new locations scattered around the map that you find the charms at. Funnily enough, he found Greedsong right near where it would actually be on the map! (Typically, it would show up in a secret room above where you find those 3 grubs in the Love Hotel, in a room with a big diagram of a Grub)

I love it when they said Nyoom and then nyoomed through the entire map going right, left and upwards.
I remember when I played the Transcendence mod, I found Lemm's Strength early on for 1 notch cost, and it was BUSTED. I didn't sell a single relic that entire game, and I felt like a god among bugs. AbsRad didn't stand a chance.
How many bosses did you 1 hit?
@@Im_Local Unfortunately, from what I can remember, none of them went down in one hit, but I'm pretty sure several of them took 5 seconds or less

I'm happy to say that, after months of watching your videos and wanting to try a randomized, I finally got HK for my computer so I could mod it! I'm a few hours through my first item rando, and so far I have about 6 charms equipped for a total of 4 notches (including kingsoul), wings, and claw. It also happens that the mould skin was the first one I downloaded!

Skurry, I just wanted to say, I'm home sick with a sinus infection for the 4th time since December (RIP) and your voice is really soothing for helping me get to sleep even though I feel like I'm on the verge of suffocating to death every two seconds
I don't know why, but these videos really help me fall asleep, even if I don't want to,,, I am incredibly sleep deprived but for some reason, no matter the time,, if I had something to eat and sit at my desk/in my bed, I'm out in 10min and I only notice after I wake up again. It's a fail safe way to put me to sleep. Thank you for your content! Still absolutely love it!

There's a charm that slows down your fireball (snail soul) , that one +shaman amp + shaman stone will allow you to single cycle Uumuu (he takes a ton of hits from 1 fireball, ive only managed 5 at the max)

Wait, is the abyssal shrieks art different in this mod? I'm at 38:57 and while it took me a few tries to pause I didn't notice for a While. It looks really cool... Either that or I forgot how it looked in basegame and the enlarged spinning confused me

Pretty sure it’s because of the skin. Skins can also change what your spells look like
