Dear Nicolas, thank you for this very clear and simple 101 lesson on GMP. You have done it a very simple manner, such that people from various backgrounds can learn the basics of GMPs and understand the importance of these good practices. It also opens up avenues for career in this area for those, who wish to explore regulatory related jobs. I am looking forward to the next ones on ATMP & gene and cell therapy. Great stuff Miltenyi Biotec!
Great presentation. I just noticed a minor flaw, 13:24 shows European Union and a date 1965. European Union was founded in 1993 I believe. Looks kind of odd
found this video because i saw a job posting with "Good understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices GMPs" as a preferred knowledge but from watching this it seems like GMP has multitude of different fields it applies to with wide range of pertinent information based on the field or product. I am still unsure what good understanding GMPs could mean as a preferred knowledge is it just the general idea of why it's important or is it the actual execution of the Good manufacturing practices from a lab procedure or something similar.

It depends upon the Industry, Country, and Company you are applying for, it's different if it's about food manufacturing industry to pharmaceutical production, to Automation. It's basically a guideline that you should follow and anything that you change from the rules or guidelines must be documented and defended. I think
@@carlocruz3192 yea that is how i understood it. That is exactly why i find it confusing that it would be placed into preferred knowledge. The information they could be wanting could be very different from one job to the next seems there would be no way to for someone to be able to say the have good knowledge of GMP's until they spoke to the hiring manager about what your actual work duties would be and verify that the job is similar to old job.
Thank you for this information. I wanted to live in the FDA community in MD. Maryland is very progressive. Good manufacturing is essential. Consumer journalist document everything. With AI and drone introduction’s everything is on the intrepol or internet. MR 12 good morning.
What a great Webinar on the GMP 101, just one note on the mention of SOP = Set Operation Procedures and not Set Order Procedures - i suppose it could mean the same in the end !

23:15 That's really interesting that tamper protection is only required for OTC drugs. I've never noticed that until now.
Great webinar. Was there follow up presentation for ATMP and gene and cell therapy?
