Peaceful protest is democracy at work. From the coverage, it appears that the students were arrested because they broke university rules (appears, not confirmed).
It would help if protesters and everyone would differentiate between Israel and its leader Netanyahu (who many Israelis are against and who is desperately trying to keep and increase his power to stay out if jail (he's been accused repeatedly of corruption)). And also differentiate between Hamas and the Palestinians (many of whom are against Hamas).

Well well, American Universities shouldn’t be funded by foreigners and not be politicized Students’ rights to free speech must not be conditioned to politics or any punishment from the university. Universities must teach not indoctrinate students.
