PLEASE, can you describe in some video editation of vocal presets not only visually, but little bit understandably for blind musician as me? I dont need detailed description like in the manual, but at least: when you press Edit button, use these or those buttons, knops or sliders for various settings. Then I can try that buttons and detect by my self, what it does. Much thanks.
Wow? Thank you Morrie I would love to have a tyros 5 I have a Roland bk 5 that was the limit of my budget? I have watched so many of your videos and enjoyed your singing, I do like the sixties music and songs? Albeit my keyboard is versatile, but not as versatile as the Tyros 5? I love how you explain it's workings etc, I have listen to the Genos ? I feel it sounds like an orchestra than a keyboard? Still keep playing one day I might have the nerve to sing a song and video it ......oop's he he best wishes Ken......
Thanks for your help. I’m putting together some tracks but finding when playing back my voice can be a bit flat, so using the pitch correct should help. Cheers
Steven, I cheated....I read the manuals, both of them. : ) And I have watched several hundred YoutTubes on the Tyros 5 Plus this is my ninth synthesizer so I've learn how to learn.
Well done young man, excellent information as the manual is complicated to understand. I think it is engineers that write it and it is OK for them, but you put it in simple terms easy to understand. Well done. Could you do one on how to set up the Microphone properly?
Thanks! You really helped me out with my Yamaha PSR S970 vocal processing. As you may probably know, it is like a little brother to the Tyros 5, so whatever you do, I'm learning, and loving it! Cheers! :-)
Great video. It is very helpful. I am wondering on the Tyros 5 if you record your "chord playing" using the regular "Song Recorder" (not the audio recorder) and then play the song back and sing along with your recording with the vocal harmony turned on - does the vocal harmony read the chords played and harmonize correctly just as it would do if you played the song live and sang with it ??? I would like to be able to record a song on the Tyros 5 and then play my guitar and sing while the recording is playing back and have the singing harmonized correctly. I would appreciate any help you can give me on this. Thanks.
Do you know which keyboard has the best autotune? Like autopitch? Without using the keyboard. I have a feeling that Yamaha have a hidden gem of autotune. I think tc helicon has a cool autotune but I want to see if u know what Yamaha keyboard has autopitch ? Where it just makes my voice sound super perfect. Appreciate ya !
Morrie Reece in Peter Baartmans demo and my Tyros3 you can set harmonies via the vocoder and trigger them with the right hand chords but this tyros 5 plays the vocal harmonies an octave lower. Any the other big issue for me is before on the 3 the harmonies would stay in the middle octave no matter where I fingered the chords and would jump voicing if I sang higher or lower in the chord. The 5 only harmonizes exactly what I finger. I’m really baffled and hope I can find someone to get me through this as I sing most of the backups through the harmonizer
Good video. Thanks. I've had my Tyros5/76 for close to two years. There is so much to learn about this complicated, but great instrument.
What a great video..well done please continue we have not heard from you for a long while..we need you..x
Maurice I have the tyros5 I never knew how good this keyboard is. Your video tutorial is awesome. Keep up the good work. Leon

Hola amigo Morrie, podrías hacer un vídeo de como se conecta el Tyros 5 al Pc y añadirle algún sonido o algún Sampler o un pack nuevo.
Gracias

Mark Porter Yes , you can do rhis! MIDIS you make on the keyboard will trigger the harmonizer, but not third party MIDI files😀
Very good explications

I am not aware of any auto pitch capability on any Yamaha keyboard, and I checked with several Yamaha user groups.
Very helpful. But the link from Part 1 to Part 2 is the wrong link!
Thanks Nick...I corrected the link. No one ever mentioned this error until you did.
I like singing too.
Thanks
My friend, you have 10 seconds to get my attention! Sorry, about the same subject, I change!
Is there a way to make the vocalized follow my right hand chords and not harmonize an octave loser?
No the vocal harmony only follows your left hand, the style hand. Not sure why you say it harmonizes an octave lower...mine doesn't do that.
