I do have a great looking 2000D that will be sent out to be graded and the date is doubled. Great timing on the video for me lol. PCGS sure does drag thier feet so it might be a while before I can see what I get as a grade. Thanks for the video J and B!

Amazing value for these coins.
My friend found what we think is an penny error.... a 200 D Penny on 5/5/24 - yes I said that right--completely missing the fourth digit. We looked at the surface under a microscope where the 4th digit should be and it is as clean as a whistle.- no hidden impression, or marks...simply just missing the 4th digit. Suggestions. comments....seems like a huge mistake in the striking and stamping process of the coin. Not sure what could have happened to cause this error. Please get back to us ....I think it is definitely one of a kind. Penny is in pretty good condition otherwise, just missing a 4th digit. Comes in as a zinc penny with a weight below 2.5 g.

I have four, three with the D and one with no mint mark. Nice looking coins.
I have two 2000 D pennies, they look new to me, but I know nothing about getting them graded. It is so easy to cheat someone who knows nothing!
Only you guys can make me feel bad about tossing some great shape pennies back into circulation! 😆 well... indeed I will keep any great condition 2000 D penny now because I do feel they are worth searching for. I will keep my eye out for those errors on them as well. Thanks J&B you guys are great!

Yeah the 2000 D penny is worth looking for specially looking for an error like the one you showed it’s beautiful it looks like a solar eclipse on The reverse.
I've found four so far, with good chance of more. All with various patterns of grease staining.

I coin roll hunt, so almost by definition, even the best condition coins I pull will be nowhere near MS-69 haha. I feel like these videos need to explain what these grades entail for context.
How do coins like this make it out of the mint, into coin rolls especially and into circulation??

I have a 2000d flawless that is a super high grade no blemishes or marks
I have a lot of pennies to go through. So far I've got four, all D mint, and they all have the grease stain.
I forgot that back in early 2000, I went to my bank and ordered $100 in Pennies. They gave me two $50 Bags of Pennies, and I put each bag in an ammo can and put away in a closet. I recently came across these bags, and made a slight cut in the bags stitching to see what was inside. Each bag is full of 2000-D pennies. So wish me luck as over the next few weeks I’m going to start looking thru them! Can you give me any other suggestions of what to do with them all? Although with this video being 2 years old, I doubt you’ll even see this comment, but maybe I’ll get lucky!! 🎃

Well I started searching the bags of these I have. Sure wish I could post pictures. so the Big Red book says above ms65 shouldn’t have any blotch’s or stains, but when you go to the PCGS site and look at the MS69 example for this coin that sold for over 2K, the reverse has lots of stains or blotches as well as nicks in the columns of the Lincoln memorial. So my question is how did that get a 69 rating? And if it can have those marks, then yes I should have some 69-70 out of the 10,000 Uncirculated 2000-D pennies I have.
Sure wish there was a way to have JBCoinisinc chime in on this, but I doubt they look back on the comments of these old videos, and on their site, basically it looks like you have to buy a way to talk to them thru w paid access, just to send an email. As I don’t have a facebook or instagram or twitter, and all I have is email, I guess I can’t ask them anything about this or how to proceed with my 10,000 uncirculated 2000-D pennies. Oh well.
I know very little about coin collecting.....although I find it FASCINATING!! I have a 2000D penny with, what appears to ME, to be an obvious error.... a VERY DEEP strike on the word"IN" ....in the phrase " IN GOD WE TRUST!" Anyone know of the approximate value of such an error? I'd put the condition of this coin in ABOVE AVERAGE condition! ( uneducated guess to be sure ) there is still about 80+ percent of its luster remaining. The detail on BOTH sides is CRISP, and lines are very clean!

If it was only worth $10 bucks, it's worth it to look for em'. Just think - one cent could turn into $10, or even much, much more!

I'm new to coin collecting, and I noticed that some coins have United States oF America on it while others have United States of America. Would the oF be a typo or was it just how the mint chose to style it?

I found one of these today. It looks like Lincoln has sideburns. BUT the problem with these cheaply made pennies is that the back has pitting and is degraded. And the overall coin discolored. Probably not worth 5 cents.

Just found a 2000 lincoln cent with an arrow going through his heart. I think the tip end of the arrow is sticking out toward the T in cent. Close AM .Got a 1987-P Roosevelt dime with a wide rim looks like one dime stuck infront of another one.
I'm not sure about a 69 grade, but l found a 2000d in a jar in pretty good condition. Even if worth 88 dollars, that's pretty good.

I have a 1987 struck through on Lincoln’s head. Not a very valuable error it’s just amazing no one’s pulled it out of circulation because it is worth more then just a penny.

That is one cool offset strike I would love to find any coin any denomination offset strike coin. I think they should go for more money do to the fact it is going to be one of a kind. You could try for years and never m make an mother just like it. Vere cool!!!!!
