Another important point to be cautious about Savandurga(Savina Durga as you rightly mentioned) is if the weather has even a remote chance of rain or drizzle, please don't even consider climbing. The steep incline is a disastrous thing to climb up/down during the rain. My friend lost his life to this exact incident on the slope as there wasn't rain during the climb up but it poured during climb down. There's nothing to hold onto once you start slipping. I can't stress enough about this and having proper footwear. Safe trekking! Thanks @Not In Office for the amazing video.
@@nikhilniki9333 There is a Veerabhadreshwara Swamy temple in the location where you could stay for a night. You are expected not to smoke, drink or consume meat. It would make a wonderful stay if you could arrive with your family members
Wonderful camera work. I have done Savanadurga trek more than 50 times. My most memorable one is the first one done 20 years back, because that was the toughest one. Had carried 1 liter of water, which I finished before climbing first half. I had no option but drink the dirty water in the pond, which Suraksha was explaining as I was so much dehydrated.

You are speaking very good kanglish mam, Anyway it our (me & my wife) favourite place, we visit at least 6 times a year particularly in rainy season. Every time I feel like I am travelling in coorg, and I travel through KENGERI SATELLITE town, komma-ghatta road, Dhodda Aaladha mara (big baniyan tree) chandhrappa circle, Manchana-bele dam, and saavana dhurga. Very beautiful and we are going to there from almost 10 years, but after covid lot of people are coming to these places, but earlier covid effect there were very few people visiting these places
This was our favorite trek after moving to Bangalore.I used to find the entrance a bit messy,hope they keep it clean don't mind paying an entrance fee for such a lovely place.Thanks.
