keep up the good work Mr Zim. i also drilled a borehole very close to your place at my rural home (PaMakovere). later on this year when i start the project i will come by your place to pick your brain
Well done Mr Zim I'm really monitoring your progress and I must say it's inspiring and impressive may your business continue to grow and leaps and bounds
Good crops Mr Zim, impressive stuff, you have demonstrated one can successfully farm in our rural areas. Your tomatoes, grade them according to the ripening stages as well. The bright red ones are ready for the kitchen. Greenish yellow ones can be kept by the purchaser for a bit longer.
The flopped maize is not a problem, it conserved the soil from erosion. Just crush it with a tractor or something like that, when it is dry, dig it mixed up with the soil underground and you have natural manure/fertiliser for the next different crop you want to plant.
Well done Mr Zim. All along, I have been inspired by the progress of the Zed Farmer in Zambia & now I’ll be inspired also with your achievement too. God bless
Wow thts massive progress and the maize is a good example to say people we need to diversify. I grew up just planting maize nothing else lol. Definitely taking notes here. Hopefully, will invite you to set up my area l still wanna do maize farming lol

Thumbs up Man. Which area of Chivi exactly. I am from that area and my experience has shown me that the area is region 5. The soils are infertile and the rains are bad. This is indeed inspiring
Hi Mr Zim, good work there. well, are you telling there is no rains in Masvingo ?when was the last time it rains? in Harare and other parts its raining.
An area that we need to consider is regenerative agriculture, principles that keep soil and plants healthy and translates to healthy fruits for humans to consume
Yeah! Get some local chefs to make homemade tomato paste and ketchup. Great recipes online. Super easy and delish better than processed sauces. People need to buy local...ideally within 100 miles of where you live. Back to healthy!
Are these determinate type tomatoes, Im guessing because of the height of the plants. I know summer in Zims is like 35-40 degrees c so how often do you have to water?
@@MrZim263 ok, water daily & indeterminate, makes sense cause they keep on growing, most places tomato plants die off when the cold comes, I know in Zims they don’t have that problem even in winter.
We do not need crouded streets with vendors, selling, tomatoes and other vegetables, if a huge percentage of them had a piece of land, grow their own crops and sell them directly to others , restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, or processing companies for value addition.. etc.
Such is a great project Sir thank you for sharing. Now,help me understand how easily I can get market for my crop as an aspiring farmer which is my number 1 challenge as a result I'm even hesitating to relocate back home from diaspora fearing that I may not get market due to financial constraints in our country. Thank you in advance

Why not let the goats, chickens, or cows feed on it instead of crushing it. Just asking
Thanks for uploading great informative video, waiting for more videos.
