I have a horse(wild mustang) that was terrified of everyone. He was and still is a special case. it took me a long time(months) to get him to trust me. I did the same technique. He was scared and would freeze; you could see the fear in his face. I could catch him, but he was not relaxed and not ok with being caught. So, I would get him ok with me just being next to him. not catch him, just have him be ok with me being in his space. after about a month of me not catching him, he wouldn't freeze anymore, he would interact with me. I then took the opportunity to pet him, scratch him, every time I got next to him, he was looking forward to being scratched. After about a month and a half every time I went in his stall, he came to me to get scratched, which he loved. then I can halter him with him being relaxed and ok with being caught. You can see it in his face. ( eyes blinking, licking and chewing)

Why can't other trainers figure out how to have great audio quality like this?!

Do it....repeat...each time your horse will get more comfortable and calm to catch.

A TEN year old "MUSTANG" that's not been touched in ten years. Something's not right here.

Nobody said he hasn't been touched...he is just super hard to catch...

That's all you have to say? I don't understand what your point may be Gerry. Please provide more detail if you would like to have some type of a discussion.

Don't catch the horse. Have the horse catch you.

You know how you can tell this is fake, right? All the while the dude is explaining how this horse has problems being caught, that horse is focused on the dude like a laser, giving him both eyes. I the horse world, we call that a clue - the horse is a ringer, a regular piece of cake, so the run-up about the horse being a problem he's gonna solve is BS.
