We have to go with Freddy vs Jason! After rewatching that film again for the breakdown, it really holds up still. It’s just dumb fun.
Mine is Jason X! It was a last hoorah for the franchise in a way, and they really went all out. Uber jason, the badass seargent who took him on, the virtual sleeping bag kill, the liquid nitrogen kill. It was great

Freddy vs Jason and Part VII The New Blood were the first Jason films I saw so I have a soft spot for them. Jason X is another favorite.
He really is a good horror character
he wasn't even supposed to exist, which makes him even better. there was never going to be a sequel, but then "what ifs" turned into actuality.
@@noirlyric True and also a lot of people don't know that in Freddy vs Jason Freddy actually won because now he is controlling Jason because he's fused to his hand that's why Freddy winked at the end. I found that out on a Q&A video with the director & cast when it first came.

@@-RONNIEhe doesnt quite win, freddy vs jason was actually officially followed up with a 2 part comic book series, he doesnt "control" jason but he does continue to manipulate him because he just cant kill him, in the end, they get taken out by ash williams and the rest of the survivors from both of their respective movies, tommy jarvice, alice etc. ( the nightmare warriors)

After actually using a machete for the first time I honestly understand why characters in games have no stamina for machetes

But if there's anything I extremely wish to happen, please please breakdown Michael Myers' signature Kitchen Knife on October 31st. I know it's just A knife everybody could fine in their kitchen, but hey at least it's A particular Chef's Knife. Its acute triangle shape and pretty balance for the grip is pretty worth it to be talk about

Jason makes every con seem like a pro. Because each swing needs more power, he can get more momentum out of each swing, meaning more force, meaning more blood.
You know, I actually love the fact that you bring the powers into this. I mean, it's obvious, but I see a lot of videos going "it's a bad weapon". And of course they know that powers are involved too, but for me, it still just makes for more enjoyable content like this too. "Yeah, here's the pros, cons and why they're using the weapon anyway."
That being said, Jason also possesses

.durability to almost anything

Jason is still my favorite out of all the male villains in the 80’s slasher films.
Jason is so insanely strong. Not only does he not get tired from carrying that thing around, but machetes really aren’t THAT sharp. So the fact that he’s able to do shit like that is crazy

Jason is probably the best horror character in my opinion. He gives of Nemesis RE2 vibes. A hulking nearly invincible threat that isn't very fast, but hits like a freight train and appears out of nowhere. Ghostface? In my opinion, close second, because the self-awareness can get funny.

When I hold a machete in a knife shop, it's a stark reminder that these are tools, not weapons. They're meant for cutting trees, not people.
A woodsman's axe is simply not a battle ax in the same way a machete isn't a sword. Whilst swords as thin as machetes exist, they're not allways that heavy.
Jason is the GOAT of horror movie slashers.

He has a similar shaped machete that he had bought like 10 years ago (not sure if it was 10 years exactly) at a flea market. He has been using it since, and hasn't needed to sharpen it too too much.

It wouldn't even be a contest. Logan would destroy him. Take away his healing factor and adamantium, he's still got decades and decades and decades of active combat experience and military training.
Jason is just a special needs kid. That's it. That's literally it. He had zero training whatsoever, and all of his power comes from being a supernatural entity. So if you're pitting Logan against a Jason that does not have supernatural powers, Jason just loses!

Jason Vorhees is an undead with supernatural levels of strength. He does not need technique or the need of worrying if it's harder to swing, machetes are flexible, and he impaled a girl onto a tree with it.
If Jason ever found a greatsword, humanity would end.
The real down side for Jason is no finger guard, which Freddy took advantage of.

Machete is scary of course, but its even more terrifying being caught and killed by his hands. He's literally pushed peoples faces in....
The fact I used to think the machete was kinda small goes to ahow just how big Jason really is
To be fair, a machete is a heavy hitter and can decapitate or sever limbs with ease, precision isn't a problem with THAT sort of damage
Not to mention Jason is immortal so he doesn't need to be a martial artist.

The thing is, while the machete is Jason’s signature weapon, he only used it for half the movies and he used plenty of other implements of death, including his bare hands.
Point is, Jason is lethal no matter what he has.

My experience using machetes likes that is that they're actually rather light tools. Forward-weighted, yes, but arguably lighter and more maneuverable than most harchets or axes.
