This review of the Chevrolet Bolt EUV Premier Redline edition is the most comprehensive and detailed video I've seen so far. You got my sub and thumbs up...
Just a heads up, The "Home" icon in the display is not the charge needed to get home. Its telling you to press left on the steering wheel to go home in the menu.
@703Speed Nope. It's been built, bayed, and waiting to ship. So hopefully soon. Your video was extremely helpful. I didn't quite understand the 1 pedal driving, but your explanation was very useful. I'll be able to drive my 92 yo dad's 2015 Telsa S better as well.
I own a Bolt EUV. I think that the exceleration is diminished with a low battery. I have been driving around town so my battery never gets that low. Nice review.
Really good job. Only item to correct that I noted was at the 6:55 mark you indicate the 65 KWh battery pack makes the power. The electric motor does that, I know you know that, just misspoke. I’ve watched many EUV vids, yours is among the best. Too bad no Super Cruise on that copy.
I just bought one of these with both supercruise and sun and sound packages. I love it. I crossed shopped with the Tesla model 3 which was great but I did not like the layout of the controls on the Tesla. It is just a personal preference and I am sure I would have gotten used to it but I know from owning a Volt that I prefer a more traditional driving layout as does my wife who will be driving the new car a lot. The EUV was also less expensive even with all of the options. I feel like I am the only person on the planet that doesn’t like one pedal driving. I just can’t get used to it no matter how much I try. I do love adaptive cruise control and super cruise as they work great.
I just got this in standard Model 2023 in black , with 20.4k miles, almost new condition, and no wrecks for 17.8k USD TOTAL.. and i haven't even included the tax credit yet. did i get a good deal?
Very quiet.. it's an amazing car. The charging is the only issue. It charge slow but if you charge at home no issue, and If your driving 60 miles back and fourth highway everyday you will lose lots of miles. You literally have to drive 65mph or under to get the EPA range..
@@rhyu1st one dealer told me 5k. Another told me 3k on the phone and then talked himself down to MSRP in seconds. Two others told me MSRP. We shall see…
Nice video, one suggestion, You don't need to use your finger for explaining things. It is kind of distracting. I know where to look when you explain the different parts of the Bolt
Still overpriced in my opinion, if it was $25k in this trim, then maybe. Super slow charging, cannot go on ony trips because of that. Or will take extra long time, if you just plan to use it locally only, then it's ok.
$40k is hell of a lot of money for a golf cart with climate control. What do you need navigation for? Can't remember how you got to and from work yesterday? Need a 50 foot cord to charge it, near home not at home. And in an accident it will lock you down and the seatbelt will set YOU on fire. What if you are injured and can't get away? I only commute four days a week and this thing is completely inadequate, and what if it's half charged and some emergency comes up? EVs are, so far, ridiculous..
I agree.. EV's are not quite there yet in my opinion.. Need better charging infrastructure, better range, and they need to make EV's look like regular cars.. I do think the Bolt looks good tho.. Now the Hyundai Ioniq is hideous
Is that $7500 tax or income deduction? Makes a difference short-term. Either one, they recoup in future payroll deductions. Don't need it if I keep what I have.
Bought 1 Jan 4th. What a great deal, love it. ❤️

Excellent vid!
This is how all car reviews should be done!
You cover details, no other reviewer even mentions.
10/10
I appreciate that! Glad you liked it!

this also qualifies for the 2023 $7500 tax credit
Yes
Excellent and clearly defined.
Thank you!
This is the only Chevy EV I must get it bro.
Tesla has had 1 pedal driving for over 5 years….
This is pretty nice.

How’s the road noise on the interstate? Sounded ok in the video. My current car I have to turn up my podcasts so loud to overcome the noise.
I can't remember. It's been a little while since I drove this now.. Maybe an owner can comment on this

Now if I could just find one without a ridiculous markup.
$5K market adjustment/markup my area ☹️

Not too bad
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t super cruise a subscription? 3 years free then you pay monthly. That’s not good if that’s the case.
Dang.. You are correct.. Not sure how I feel about that
Free introductory .
Maybe one day, I can buy the Chevy Bolt EUV.
If you go to the dealer now I think they'll just add the 7500 off right there and then..
Can you record your driving like a dash cam?
If you give me a couple reasons why, I would consider it
Nerp
towing people hate that " tow bolt"...not hooked to anything solid. things will get bent if it is a hard pull.
Its all cool
The front license plate bracket is unacceptable, I don’t want or need it, so why was it put there?
Good question. Although, in my state, front plates are required by law
Where is my Bolt EV I ordered over 4 months ago?
What dealer did you order from?
Its nice

I think Chevy would even be losing money if they sold this for $25k.. But that would be a fair price.. Problem is everything is expensive now..
@@703Speed they can sell it for that price they got money
They can pay Mary bara $50,, million per year salary..
I dont think you know what cars cost these days, the average price is over $46k now. This is the best value in the market at MSRP.
@@estephens13 fuk the average value, it's all intentionally overpriced, it soon will be $60k. I'm sure.

So what is it? Either you don't know or don't care that recording a video while driving is unlawful and reckless to boot.
Tell that to every other automotive UA-camr… I have both hands on the wheel and am not holding the camera.. WE GOT A KAREN
