      If you had asked me before I would have guessed that a tinamou would be a relative of the kinkajou!

    The sound went from crickets to cicadas and then to a squeeky motor belt.

    another wonderful nature documentary! Your videos are short on duration but dense in information. The facts are concise and the footage excellent quality. I also appreciate that you often include audio clips of the featured animal's calls.
    The narration is high caliber as well!

    Did you know that they are related to the moas than to other ratites?

    • @zebedeemadness2672
      @zebedeemadness2672 Рік тому +2

      Ratite birds are full of surprises, like the Tinamou a bird from the Americas, is most related to the Moa± a bird from New Zealand, (As based on geographic location and not knowing better, you'd expect the Tinamou to be more related to the Rhea, both being Americas Ratite birds). Also surprising the Kiwi a bird from New Zealand is most related to the Elephant-bird± a bird from Madagascar, (As based on geographic location and not knowing better, you'd expect the Kiwi to be more related to the Moa±, both being New Zealand Ratite birds). Also based on morphology not knowing better, you'd expect the Tinamou to be the most basal (primitive) of the living Ratite birds (it's just something about there appearance that fits that), but it's the Ostrich that's the most basal (primitive) of the living Ratite birds, like i said full of surprises.

    I found this channel after watching Moth Light Media's latest video about ratites, because I wanted to learn more about tinamou. This was very well done, and I'm glad to have another nature documentarian in my subscriptions. Thanks!

    I have never heard of Tinamou Birds ! Oh … they are sooo beautiful and adorable and I love the sounds they make ! I wish people and corporations would stop 🛑 destroying all animals habitats ! I wish also that all people became vegetarian ! All animals and creatures are precious ! We would still have the Dodo 🦤 bird today if people had been more considerate and careful ! Dodo birds such sweet loving birds ! It scares me how many creatures and birds are going extinct every day ! It leaves an awful future for our descendants where they might only know of these animals from stories and pictures ! Thank you for sharing this information on Tinamous ! ❤️❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍👍😊😊😊

    Dudes I never even heard of that bird that's freaking amazing and I fell in love with him they remind me of quail the smaller ones and even the big ones I guess the biggest one is about the size of a chicken but most of them are the size of a quail or a partridge but they have similar habits as a quail but I see how they're related to the I wouldn't email anyway they're pretty cool and that one call it was crazy just said but you can't hear me or let me turn it up or notch I want to raise them I bet they are delicious as well Quail is my favorite foul to observe to hunt and to eat what better thing than that and I care about them but humans must eat and most of us like meat I don't think good life can exist without meat protein and meet fat vegetables are wonderful when cooked in the previous
