Start by selecting the sequence containing your subtitles from the project panel. Navigate to the window menu and choose the text option. Upon completion, initiate the transcription process by clicking on "transcribe and create captions." Premiere Pro will automatically generate the captions and integrate them into a new subtitle track. However, to unlock the full potential of your captions and apply various effects, you'll need to convert them into text layers. Simply select all the captions, then navigate to the graphics and titles menu and choose "upgrade caption to graphic." This action transforms all captions into editable text layers, allowing you to enhance them with transitions and other effects. With this newfound flexibility, you can seamlessly elevate the visual appeal of your video content.
