For sure things has come very far since my days doing trails on c4d, this is a lot more time consuming but I love it, so much can be customized and the best part, it can be reused on many projects after the initial setup.
Yup, That's the best part about it. Although it takes days of experiments and efforts to get one right, Once you get it, its like a cheat code. Geometry nodes can really helps to speed things up on big projects, eliminating the need to do the same thing again and again.
Fantastic !!! Could u make a easy basic video abut named attribute node?, for some reason i understand most of geo nodes but every time attributes pop up my brain blocks :/
@mdreamslk technically, its not beginner lvl, id concider myself as advanced, i just cant think how to use attributes, kina knowing when to store what and why and where... do u know a good advanced video that teaches the "thinking process" behind using attributes?
hello! great tutorial, easy to follow. I just have an issue when it came to animated object. even when playing the animation, the trails spawned and moved exacly like when the mesh was still, like the whole thing movend but the trails didnt interacted with the movement. have you an idea on how to fix this?
Hi, First double check the nodes. especially when you were making the fixed distribution for the point. Make sure you plug the right group input to sample index (I mean baked and non baked). Also make sure you hit bake in the bake node. Sometimes when you make a change bake can get refresh, so you might need to bake again. If nothing works, delete the bake node and add it again. Also give blender a restart. There are times that fixed some issues for me in previous Blender versions.
wow 😮

I am thinking of doing some beginner friendly videos. Might take some time though

Hello. Can you tell me in what format the video intro should be saved in order to be able to insert it into UA-cam before the main video?
Not sure I understand the question
