Surprise surprise Ten was involved in the styling for this mv like he was for Paint Me naked and he actually received this song the same time he did PMN but he said he wasn't feeling it at that time so he focused more on PMN which was something different for him because as you know NCT and especially WayV be making some hoe anthems 😂 so PMN was different but it was also who Ten felt like at that time well this young man felt like he was ready to put that sauce on Birthday and he did and he again got asked to be hands on with the styling as well as the set up for the mv and he delivered because Ten is art and he makes art out of anything he touches so here we have it. The best short run-down is that NCT has 23 members (currently, but are planning to add more). It sounds overwhelming, but most of the time they operate within their own subunits and promote as those groups, so if you were to go subunit by subunit it'd be just like getting into any other KPop group. The main subunits are: "NCT 127" (9 members) "NCT Dream" (7 members) "WayV" (7 members)* which work as any normal K-Pop group does (but WayV primarily sings in Chinese because they're a Chinese subunit, the only reason they don't have NCT in their name because of political reasons). The part where they're different is there's a 4th subunit called "NCT U". Through this unit, on ocassion the members come together and make whole group songs/albums. We get a bunch of cool combinations and 'collabs' between members who aren't in the same subunit usually, it's decided based on who fits the concept/song best out of all 23 members. All of them are a part of "NCT U" because they've all been on an NCT U song at least once. Since you mentioned them specifically: both Ten and Lucas are a part of WayV. However, Lucas is currently on an indefinite hiatus for reasons I won't get into because it's a sensitive topic and also one that splits the fandom. *You've probably noticed that the number of members in brackets doesn't add up to 23. That's for a number of reasons: - at the moment, 2 members don't have a subunit and have only debuted through "NCT U" - 2 members are a part of both NCT 127 and NCT Dream - they're called Haechan and Mark (Mark is also in SuperM!)
