After Christmas Shopping Haul & Sales Finds Boxes Ornaments Paper

- Every year we hit the after Christmas sales and this shopping haul video shows the Christmas boxes, ornaments and paper that I found this year the day after Christmas. The Christmas boxes were found previous to Christmas at 50% off at Joannes. We toned it down a bit this year with the after sales. We have alot of Christmas decorations and it has to be really good for us to buy it, even after Christmas. Chocolate cherries are my favorite, have been since I was very young. Love those beautiful storage boxes. They’re really too pretty to put away. I think it’s so sad that the Christmas season is almost behind us. If it were up to me, I’d like to celebrate all year long! God bless

Before they started making those boxes I would spray paint cookie tins, put my old Christmas stickers on them and seal them with a clear coat. There small but I can sill enjoy my old stickers. Nice finds and I want to try those cookies. 👍💕

A great haul. You always luck up with it comes to decorating items on sale. I did a little shopping today and got 2 tree skirts at Hobby Lobby for 90 percent off. I bought a few other items and was so happy to find the 90 percent off. A few items I wanted before Christmas and I didn’t buy them but today I did. Was a happy shopper. Beautiful boxes! I've never thought to use them to store my decor. Great tips! When I was a child, I would always gift my grandmother a box of the chocolate covered cherries. She loved them!

Some very nice finds for sure. The Walmarts near us (3) all had a ton of Xmas decorations & misc left the week before Xmas. Never seen so much left that close in. Sign of the times for sure.

I love the gift boxes at Joann’s - especially the Christmas ones ! I have a set of three that have Christmas horses on them. I always look at the boxes when I shop there.
About nine or ten years ago my local grocery store had all their beautiful Christmas paper marked done to 25 cents a roll. Of course I bought it all- all these years later I am still using it and still have many rolls ! No one has ever mentioned that they recognize the same paper year after year after year ! HaHa!

So Agree with the decorative boxes! Bought several at Christmas sales with Christmas flowers and they sit happily on our linen closet floor holding holiday decor and decorative items and they look great! All the same pattern makes it look 'together' and 'neat'! Did the same in an entry closet..boxes of a similar theme and such a difference from 10 different boxes, cohesive and looks 'organized'..because it is! Great idea..might just go out to after Christmas sales and hope some things are left...still with a holiday cold and cough...not exposing others to this others till I'm clear! Love to watch your shopping hauls and makes so much sense!!!

I love those boxes! I didn’t find anything like them. My dad loved chocolate covered cherries. He got them every year for Father’s Day when we were little kids. 🙂. I’m afraid I will be late watching on Friday. I will be heading to Colorado on the train. But I will definitely be watching at some point. 😊. Love the after Christmas sales. I bought a bunch of red candles and use them for Valentine’s Day decor. I too put my most special ornaments in those beautiful boxes and keep in my closet. Great video. Happy New Year.

Love the beautiful Christmas storage boxes. I have so many of those round cookie tins, that I keep my special ornaments in those, but the boxes are prettier 😉. I use the cookie tins for beaded garland ! And we have a mile of it in 5 different kinds ! Oh yes I don't toss them out ! 👫💕🍑❄🐧🏂☕

Hi friend. Nice idea for storage. I am taking down my Christmas and getting rid off what I don’t use anymore. So far 3 boxes. Lol. Making room for the new. Blessings

Good morning ☕, for some reason I wasn't notified!! I love vintage Victorian style and it's so hard to find!! Love it. The ornaments got me!! I just wished they'd bring back a lot more!! I'd have to pass on all those calories! I couldn't get out of the chair to shop around! 😂. Love all your finds tho. Love boxes for ornaments and to sit around here and there!! I like the boxes too, but I have bought some in the past and never used them. I also shopped the after Christmas clearance at Family Dollar, Dollar Tree and Dollar General and I got some good stuff. Everything I got was either .65 cents each or .50 cents each. I did pay $1.50 each for two fake wreaths, but I thought that was still a good price.

Ya know, Jeff: they say it's NOT considered "hoarding" if it's stored in a pretty box!
(Edit: I always try to pick up a couple of those pretty boxes, they are perfect for smalls! I especially like to use them if I find some small angels, or a nativity without a box at my thrift store!) I also get them during the year at Tuesday Morning, when I need one. Pretty designs, but not Christmas themed.

That’s how we know who’s presents are who’s. The boys are told what paper they have. Then they go searching. Lol Now, I number them in the order to open them up to make it more exciting.

I can say that my uncle wallys didn't have the red and gold ornaments u showed us today. I thought i was the only one with huge stash of xmas paper. I still have my Current Inc stash as well. Don't even know if they still exist. also have spools of thread from an original chain store that closed in the 90s too. Lol

Hi ya Jeff , it's seems really crazy that my card has come all the way from Australia and is now at your home . It is so nice to see it amongst your other beautiful cards you received . We've been busy here again storms tonight I've been in and out checking everything. Jeff hit his head yesterday and blood everywhere. I had to put butterfly stitches on it . He's fine but boy does he bleed alot . All I saw was red coming down the stairs and Jeff's voice saying I hit me head on the tree cutting the palm leaf off . Up a ladder mind you , not telling me he was doing it . I'm a St John's ambulance first aid . So he was ok . My best Christmas tea towel was the thing he grabbed to put on his head which I've had for years . He just said oh it's just one I brought you when we got married ( 44 ) yrs ago mind you .
