Do see yourself working ‘happier’ with a battery operated chainsaw? No fumes/less noise
I wouldn’t say I work happier because of the battery saws . I’m confident my neighbors are happier when I use them though .
The fumes and noise do not personally bother me . I wear a mask that helps , and I don’t mind the drone of the saw with my earmuffs on . Also my earmuffs have blue tooth so I can listen to music
I want to find a Stihl saw that is electric that I can put a dime tipped bar on. I don’t want a battery operated, but one that I can drive with a power cord.
Do you have any suggestions?
Sorry I do not as I have not used any corded saws . I would go to Stihl.com and read the descriptions of those saws . They might already have a 1/4 pitch sprocket so it may fit a dime tip bar . I’d also talk to a dealer about the setup
