It's a shame that the cl. 373s did'nt last longer than they did as their characteristic "whoo-whoo-whoo" sound as they passed by at LGV/HS1 speeds will be much missed, certainly by myself. Unfortunately the fastest stretches of HS1 are some 230 miles distant from me, and HS2 is nowhere near being built yet in West Yorkshire.

The trains aren't traveling as fast as they appear. The video has been sped up. In some of the views if you look at the vegetation in the foreground near the camera and far from the train you can see their movement is unnatural.
It's not speed up, that's just the air pushed away from the train speed passed.

Ça peut être une très bonne vidéo si il n'y avait pas de musique, deux choses qui ont fait que malheureusement je n'aime pas la vidéo : Le nouvel Eurostar en lui-même, qui est plus court, ne fait pas de bruit, et trop gros, et la musique qui est en premier plan. Je suis vraiment désolé... -1 like
