  • tomhess.net/playguitarperfectly Learning fast sweep picking arpeggios is fun! This video teaches you how to connect fast sweep picking arpeggios together smoothly and fluently! Here’s exactly what you learn [...]
First, I teach you how to play and connect 3 string arpeggios (using sweep picking of course).
Second, I teach you how to use the finger roll technique in order to play the arpeggios faster.
Third, I’ll share with the big secret to being able to smoothly connect each arpeggio together (hint: it has little to do with either hand and everything to do with where your eyes are looking at during specific crucial moments when trying to connect the arpeggios together.
Fourth, you learn how to sweep pick and change arpeggio shapes even faster by playing them in a single direction (instead of the typical up-down-up-down pattern arpeggios are usually played in).
So grab your guitar and let’s shred some sweep picking together!

Pebber (R.I.P.) sent me. I stumbled upon looking at the next note just recently. I was playing I Don't Know, R.R. and kept messing up the harmonics, I want the right strings in the harmonic, not all of them. To do this I looked ahead to the twelfth and right before I got there I immediately looked to seven. Seamless. The arpeggio lesson is awesome but even more awesome to me, is knowing for certain what your next move will be. Thanks!
