Hello Ryan, it’s just showing the phone on the tripod. It’s not a example of how to set up the phones. Those I have made especially on videos on worldclassGolf.com or my online platform craighansongolf.Com where I talk about phone set up the correct and incorrect positions. It’s to get people interested in the idea of filming. I didn’t say that this is the phone set up position.
You have to improve the overall release pattern ( a weak grip won’t do it right hand or left ) The ability to create big lag angles is the ability to square the club late in downswing - is in a way your talent level. But it can be improved massively. Grip loose and use the sound of the Club to swoosh in front of the ball. Film your practice swing with your phone. When you can imitate the angles you want without the ball your a great chance of improving it. Note that in Slow motion on your phone your practice swing when it has lag angles and shaft lean the club will be open at impact you don’t want this! When you can make a great practice swing with lag and workout a open face at impact you will be able to improve your swing if you use a 1-2 practice swings before you hit a golf ball and then hit thousands of balls over a 2-3 month period. That’s how you improve it - there is no magic wand it’s great info and hard work

But how do we hold that angle or lag when club is parallel to the ground. Do physically hold the angle
